I was 😭 My horror tolerance is basically one creepy shadow away from a full spiritual evacuation.
That explains it 😂 I usually avoid horror completely so my tolerance never had the chance to develop. Even a mildly creepy scene feels like a survival challenge to me.
I wasn't emotionally prepared for the cruel reality of getting only two new episodes a week. My curiosity is eating me alivev and apparently, patience is not included in my subscription.
Oh wow, I didn’t know that! Ggeomeoksali is definitely the perfect combination of creepy and cute. 😂 The scene in ep 4 where Gu Cheon decided to share his Yang energy with him absolutely sent me!😆 I was laughing so much!
I’m so glad that kdramas labelled as horror are usually more suspenseful than genuinely terrifying. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t have the courage to watch this one! I’m only on episode 3, but the plot has already completely captured my attention, and the outstanding acting makes it even more compelling.
I’ve just watched ep 1, and I’m already satisfied! I’ve been waiting for season 2 for such a long time, so I really hope it continues to deliver and becomes everything I’ve been hoping for. 🫠
everyone blaming him for any death is genuinely so fucking stupid. from that bitch seonu's mom to the governor…
I agree 100%. He’s a doctor carrying unbearable pressure every day and acting like every death is somehow his fault is insane. He’s doing everything he can in situations where the outcome isn’t always in his hands.
I started The Double today and I’m already hooked! It’s been a while since a cdrama pulled me in this quickly. I’m really hoping it keeps this energy until the very end.
It's not all that scary. It leans more action/sci-fi than true horror, imo.
I took the risk a few days ago … and apparently my survival instincts were weaker than my curiosity because I got hooked immediately.
I’ve already binged 3 seasons, so I guess the drama won this round. You were right. It feels much more like a thriller/action/sci-fi than horror, which is probably why my soul stayed mostly inside my body. 😂
Honestly… it doesn’t really do a dramatic glow-up or suddenly become a different personality later 😭 It…
Thank you, Cora! This is actually such useful advice and exactly what I needed to hear. I appreciate the honesty, especially the “maybe it gets me later” energy part, because that’s literally what I was debating. I might not force it then and save my drama time for something that fully pulls me in.
I watched the first two episodes and then put the drama on hold for a few days. Now I’m debating whether I should give it another chance or simply drop it.
For those who have already completed it, would you say it’s worth continuing? The first two episodes didn’t fully capture my interest, but I’m still open to being pleasantly surprised. ✨
I don’t usually watch horrors because one suspicious shadow and I’m already reconsidering all my life choices.
But at the same time… I really want to watch this one because seeing the MLs in such completely different, darker characters sounds way too tempting to ignore.
So the real question is: will I survive this drama, or will I end up watching half of it through my fingers, with the lights on and my soul leaving my body every five minutes?
I was looking forward to watching something old-fashioned, heart-warming, full of friendship, and genuinely catchy, and now here I am on episode 12, enjoying it from the very beginning. It’s actually the oldest drama I’ve watched so far, but somehow that makes it even more charming.
