❤️royal feast. I really like Zhu Zhanji. In fact, as a viewer, I find Xu Kai's best acting of his career is…
I understand what you are saying, perhaps this is the issue with people wanting to see more of pairings from previous dramas. Based on the story tho, it makes sense that she pushes him away a lot. She herself is conflicted by her feelings. She was raised from a young age to be his wife, later on this happened and she wasn’t. Her past with the Empress made her fearful so is being protective of herself, yet she still can’t help having feelings for him. It would be weird if she just gave in. It went food to palace intrigue because she went from working the kitchen to being a consort. The political stuff had been brewing in the background the whole time. As for the colour palette- I actually like it. There’s so many beautiful scenes in front of his study, with the orange leaves. I love the dark greens and blues of their costumes. Drama watching is subjective and we all enjoy different things. I can agree that CL was an absolute slog. It took me 4 years 😅the first like maybe 8 eps are good but then it takes a sharp nosedive and is full of the most HATEFUL people. Kai looks beautiful in SEL and Bian Luohuan is one of his best looks ever-that’s all I can say for those two 😬 it’s the story on both, not Kai

How do you define romance tho? I think everyone has their own ideas of what’s romantic or not. For me, they actually had a lot of sweet moments. It’s not full of grand gestures and skinship it’s more about the quiet everyday moments. Personally, I love RF. I’ve watched it quite a few times. It’s more chill than Yanxi which is basically 70 eps of non-stop drama. RF has drama but it’s not a new drama every episode 😅
It won't be on CCTV. It says on this page, iQiyi on both original network and where to watch. Royal Feast was…
multiple dramas of his have been on dual platform. FIYS is in tencent, iQIYI and YOUKU, BCE is on tencent and iQIYI, Lost in Kunlun is on iQIYI and tencent/we certain regions
I am very concerned about Xu Kai taking on this brand. I hope nothing bad happens to him because his black marketers…
Kai isn’t some naive child, he knows what’s up. Also, ZZH situation was a bit deeper than just visiting a place in a Japan. He was at a shrine that is even controversial in Japan for deifying war criminals. Not really on the same level. Plus, as Blades SoSo said, Chinese actors do work with Japanese brands in China, it’s not new.
