It's already slated for 30 episodes since the beginning. Today they released Ep 23 and 24 and fast track package for the remaining 6 episodes. MDL already changed the ending date to 2 Feb, too.

Overall a happy ending, EVERYONE is alive and played the final game with Chun Yu's father to fight Mr Yan. Gao Xun fell into a coma after the last showdown with Mr Yan, but later with the help of her father, Chun Yu went into Gao Xun's consciousness to stimulate his brain activity (including all childhood moments) and he woke up (with amnesia trope at first, lol). Mr Yan is arrested. The last one waking up is the real Uncle Lin who resumes his canteen worker job, though he doesn't have any memory of the kids or the game. Chun Yu and her dad are on good terms now. Chun Yu and Gao Xun are a couple, and so are Yang Bang Wan and Xiao Qing. The group reenacts some of the games (not sure if the 19th architecture building becomes an amusement park?).
