I didn't read the original source or watch the older version, so I don't know how different the drama is from the novel. I thought it was just a costume romcom, but there are also interesting mysteries surrounding both Male Leads. Looking forward to seeing apprentice Du Bin meeting General Yuan 😉 (up to Ep 4 he hasn't shown up yet).
WHAT KIND OF ENDING IS THAT??? Today was the last episode, right (24) and it ended like that? Is there a Season…
It seems like by the end of filming the production team suddenly realized they forgot about that video and just inserted like that. Oh gosh please NO Season 2. What's the point???
Based on the Ep 3 preview, when Hong Jo happily told Shin Ju that she thinks the love spell worked, I think Jae…
I don't watch AKO, cos when I checked the comments/reviews, I read that the FL dies. I can't do with BE if I binge-watch completed dramas. If currently airing dramas... oh well!

OK I watched the teaser... Omg, hahaha, lol... Idk what to say. If he accidentally drank the Love Potion it's funny but it's kinda sad cos then the love is forced and not real, I prefer they fall with each other naturally. But then... we don't know if what happens in the teaser is because Shi Yun accidentally drinks the Love Potion, tho. What if it's the Healing Potion's requirement that the recipient or the potion maker sincerely loves the book owner or something like that? There are several dramas I knew about the requirement of supernatural deeds is that the person has to be in love. (Kdrama Heartbeat and several Chinese xianxias)

I have a crazy feeling that ML will be a victim of her spell... and I'm not sure it it's a good idea. Anyway,…
Based on the Ep 3 preview, when Hong Jo happily told Shin Ju that she thinks the love spell worked, I think Jae Kyung drank the potion, not Shin Ju. Logically, if Shin Ju accidentally drink the potion, that scene won't happen.
Because he's the owner of the land/shrine. She trespassed his property. He took her picture just in case he needs…
Yeah, I was confused too as of why he took her picture when the scene appeared in the intro of Ep 1, then when I found out that he's the land/shrine owner, it clicked.
My theory of what happened back then in the Joseon Dynasty based on Ep 2 (spoiler below):
When Shin Yu researched the writer of the potion book, a notable shaman Aeng Cho, he found out that Aeng Cho was killed by Jang Mu Jin. Hong Jo is definitely a descendant of the shaman since she is the book owner. As for Shin Yu, his surname is also Jang... Dun dun dun... so his ancestor killed her ancestor in Joseon time. Aeng Cho must be the one who cursed her killer and his descendants, including Shin Yu. That explains the bloody hands' manifestation...
In the trailer, there is a romance between Shin Yu and Hong Jo look-alike so they must be Aeng Cho and Jang Mu Jin. Probably she's accidentally killed by him or some misunderstanding.
The native drama title is translated as Irresistible Love/This Relationship Is Force Majeure (unavoidable/act of God, which means that because of what happened in the Joseon era back then: Shin Yu and Hong Jo are destined to be together, no matter at the moment he has a girlfriend and she has a big crush on Jae Kyung. As the trailer said: "Let's run away. Somewhere. Anywhere"... to the future.
My theory is the only one who can undo the curse on her is the descendant of the curse sender, which is Hong Jo.
