Why do I have a feeling that Seo Chang Ho, Hee Soo's dad, has something to do with Go Young Sik's death (his partner/Seul…
Actually I was kinda disappointed that the drama makes Seul Hae and Cha Woong are somehow related in the past thru her dad and his grandpa. Come on, this past relationship is like outdated trope in Kdramas, lol.
Yeah, the ones when they wear hanboks are kinda interesting...
Why do I have a feeling that Seo Chang Ho, Hee Soo's dad, has something to do with Go Young Sik's death (his partner/Seul…
Yes, you're right! After Min Ho's case, Seul Hae is even promoted to be in charge of the civil issues, so probably to make her giving up being a detective?
I'm actually become intrigued with the amnesiac guy, tho. I mean, out of nowhere we were given the scene by the sea. Him hearing things and the bottle on the bottom of the sea. Does he pretend to be amnesiac, dumb, and delusional, or he's actually like that? Duh, this mystery actually drifts my interest away from the main story: Cha Woong and Seul Hae, hahaha!
I have a question for people who already watched Ep 2. About the main mystery: (spoiler below)
Why do I have a feeling that Seo Chang Ho, Hee Soo's dad, has something to do with Go Young Sik's death (his partner/Seul Hae's dad). As we know the guy who supposedly killed him is the one who has amnesia now (the forensic drawing matches him). But the first time when Seo Chang Ho and Go Young Sik approached the scene, there was only the shaman (Cha Woong's grandpa) and a body laying on the ground. The shaman used his superpower to choke the police officers, but he didn't have a gun with him. Then where did the killer come from? My guess is that Seo Chang Ho accidentally shot Go Young Sik, but didn't want to report it because of his ambition to be an assemblyman. What do you think?
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows…
You're welcome... I'm not sure about the veteran part, lol. I have only watched Asian dramas and been on MDL since summer 2019. That's quite new compares to other MDLers, lol.
Yes, I first saw him in Brightest Star in the Sky. Ha, I recognized your pfp: Lu Han! Did you watch Cross Fire?…
I tried to watch it for several episodes, but it's boring. FL is stiff/bland. Yang Yang is better if matched with actresses with sunny personality, like Dilraba in You Are My Glory. I haven't seen the one with Xiao Lu Si, Who Rules the World. Are you watching it?
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows…
I don't watch Alice, although I heard that ML is FL's son? Is he also the son of the second ML, and FL and SML are a couple? In the drama I meant, that is the case.
I am not so sure about this one. I dropped it after first two episode when the first case was so cliche morover…
The case for the first two episodes, the school bullying, seems cliche since a lot dramas have that issue whether in the present or past. But it seems school bullying is a big issue in SK and the trauma causes people to commit suicide. Every case is different tho, so far I see to Ep 8 they're not connected but the main plot. Some characters in the beginning maybe lack depth but they have character growth.
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows…
The one I told you in my last comment: if Joon Woong is their son, will copy another Kdrama. Sorry, I didn't mean to stalk you, but I looked up at all your list (CW, completed, dropped, on hold, not interested), and it's not there. So I can't tell you which one because it's a big spoiler for that drama. You can guess tho, I'll answer yes or no ;D
Your CW list? You can make a custom list with the drama you partially watched but don't have time to finish it. Make a note in that drama about the summary you watched so when you pick it up again you don't have to re-watch the previous episodes. From CW list you can move it to On Hold or PTW. While waiting for the new episodes of the currently airing you can binge the ones from your list.
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows…
Yeah, there was sometime that the child actor Park Sang Hoon, who played as the young Joong Gil, his character was labeled as 'Mysterious Boy' in some sites (not MDL), that's how people came with the theory that Joong Gil is Goo Ryun's son. Plus people said the actress looks too old for Lee Soo Hyuk to be his romantic partner. Then someone on MDL comment put 2 article links in Korean that confirmed that the child actor indeed played as the young Joong Gil.
I don't really want Joon Woong to be their son, because if yes that revelation will copy another Kdrama and people will criticize this one as a copycat, not using an original idea. I saw you haven't seen that drama so I won't tell you which one, since that is a big spoiler ;D
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows…
No, Goo Ryun cannot be Joong Gil's mother. I saw you have watched till Ep 6. So, you have seen the episode in which during Joseon era there is a young couple. In the cast list, the child actors played as young Goo Ryun and young Joong Gil's respectively. And they were married in that scene. Don't worry, by Ep 8 there is a shift towards revealing the main plot ;D
It's actually not a review but more first impressions, but I really hope by the end of the drama MDLers will give…
I think most Kdramas go downhill because they have to fill the traditional 16 episode format. If the main story doesn't take 16 episode to finish, then the rest is filler. But for case-by-case dramas like this, usually the pace is pretty good, because little by little they reveal the main plot along the drama while entertain us with the individual cases. I have seen similar formula like this, for example in Dr. Romantic 1 and 2 and I was not bored at all ;D
Another good thing is that the individual cases, although the same mission to save someone who wants to kill themselves, but they have unexpected situation, like Ep 7 with the virus which the RM Team has to guess who wants to commit suicide, and Ep 8 with finding out the culprit behind group suicide plus ethical dilemma. Both situations are not in previous episodes which are surprisingly refreshing and unexpected
Yes, I first saw him in Brightest Star in the Sky. Ha, I recognized your pfp: Lu Han! Did you watch Cross Fire?…
Oh yeah, it's really good. It has 8.6 rating on MDL, quite high for a Cdrama. It has a strong bromance, perseverance to achieve a goal (the e-commerce was looked down way back then), and the characters are hilarious. There are also love stories but not overwhelming. You can read my recap here. But it's my first article, so it's not as good as the ones now ;D https://mydramalist.com/article/cross-fire-a-gaming-e-sport-drama-everyone-can-enjoy-011015503
another z.tao's interesting drama, well as interesting as brightest star in the sky
Yes, I first saw him in Brightest Star in the Sky. Ha, I recognized your pfp: Lu Han! Did you watch Cross Fire? I started writing articles from recapping about that drama, because I just couldn't get over it, it's sooo good!
Yes. Great review. I read and nodded to your points. This drama makes me cry and laugh.
It's actually not a review but more first impressions, but I really hope by the end of the drama MDLers will give review similar to this. It means things don't go south but get better ;D. I love how the main secrets have started unravel after watching Ep 8 ;D
I started tomorrow for lee soo hyuk but it is actual good. The cases and how the team sloves them might not be…
As I expected, usually at the half of the drama (Ep 8 of 16) the main plot becomes clear. Now Joong Gil knows Goo Ryun has something to do with his past (in his nightmare) and tells her so. I believe they didn't remember each other initially, although I suspect Jade Hwang knows about them? The one that also interesting that Joon Woong becomes aware of the team's goal, aka his teammate's need. He remembers she says she comes from hell and Ryung Goo only works 8 hours. I believe with his curiosity to know about his teammate further, we get to know their past ;D. Are you excited? The main plots unravel with a good pace ;D
Yeah, the ones when they wear hanboks are kinda interesting...
