I saw other versions shows the narration of the others too, but their characterizations are not deep. I only see…
Actually, isn't the portrayal of all ML's fiancees are always strong? I mean they fall for the MLs but never become crazy bitches who harm the FLs? I like when watching the Korean version, when the first entrance of Joon Pyo's fiancee is when she's rowing and singing on the gondola... LOL.
It was actually the second time I tried watching Shen Yue, first time in A Love so Beautiful and then MG 2018. I hated both characters, I dropped ALSB. I don't really like watching her again. On the contrary I actually follow Wang He Di, Darren Chen, Caesar Wu, Connor Leong, and Sun Qian, and checked their works after MG 2018.
Yeah, I actually am impressed with her acting, amongst all the main characters, even compared to Bright and Win…
She is a GMMTV actress, so yeah, all projects will be with GMMTV. The matter is hopefully it gets subbed.
I'm at the same position with you. I have never watched any of the main actors before, so I cannot compare their acting here with their previous works. Since I've never watched Bright before, I can only see his acting from how he played the transition and transformation of Thyme, as the director said. As of Win's character, the interview with the director on Kavin is really intriguing. I've never seen the third male lead being manipulative in other versions. I'm curious what were the screenwriters up to with this character.
I was surprised to find Zhang Han on here, because even though he is stunningly handsome and knows how to do the…
Honestly I'm not sure either... I've never watched his dramas... Only when making this article I watched Boss & Me... was that when you saw he's emotionless. So I want to see Liu Guang Yin. But again, his character is the God of War, so it may be a cold personality...
I've been going through your articles and stumbled upon this one. First of all, I want to express my thanks for…
Whoa... you are a HYD veteran??? I urge you to watch it now... and mostly plunge in with other HYD veterans in the comment section. Truly... I'm not exaggerating when I wrote that it's full with " in-depth character, episode-by-episode, or version compare/contrast analysis". Besides, when you're with them, all nostalgia of the previous drama will come up! When reading their comments, I feel like this CW article is too childish and simple, and only touches the surface of the depth of the drama they're discussing. But since my intention writing this article is merely to introduce this drama mainly to them who are newbies, never watched any version or Thai drama, I don't want to go too far.
I will just give you some input on the MG 2018 on why is so lamely different: - Unlike the other versions, the setting is university, not high school because no way it would pass censorship. No romance for high schoolers, they have to study to pass the national university entrance exam. - Therefore, making F4 card issuance tradition is childish. The main characters should be college kids, more mature. I still think that bridge challenge is so weird. - Their dramas have to be inspirational. That makes the characters have to be smart. MG 2018 is the only version that shows that they actually study instead of playing around. - Also, makes the ML, Dao Ming Si, smart and not having weakness making mistakes with spelling - Another thing, flaunting wealth is a no-no in Cdramas. That makes it only Dao Ming Si has a luxury car. Luxury cars and huge mansions are all back in this drama. There is funny scene (not spoiler) that Gorya got lost in Thyme's huge mansion ;D
Wu Lei and Lay Zhang!! ❤️❤️Will definitely check out their upcoming dramas. Thanks for this list!!Can't…
Lay Zhang's drama Challenged in Midlife should come out soon. Marcus mentioned it in his Youtube because he wanted to watch it, but then it gets delayed.
You meant The Wolf? What was the original concept and trailer?
Yeah it's a bit confusing, especially if the dramas are taken from novels written by female authors. I mean, the scriptwriters should be able to follow how the authors described their heroines.
I'm waiting for the clarification of his case... do you have any update on that? After the submitted the case…
Thank you so much for the link. I just read it. Luckily you were able to find it. Actually I have never heard of ZZH until the incident happened. I'm quite new in dramaland. Started on 2019 but watch not only Cdramas. I've never watched WoH. Lately because of the incident, I watched Banshu Legend. Also his mini drama, Brother. Have you watched it? It's really good. In a short time ZZH was able to bring up a conflicting character torn between his brother and his lover.
Amazing review. Really enjoying the Thailand version and the breath of fresh air that it is bringing. I keep getting…
Yeah, I actually am impressed with her acting, amongst all the main characters, even compared to Bright and Win who have more experiences. I'm surprised she's so serious with acting, since her next drama is Ten Years Ticket. I mean, she could've picked light-hearted romcoms, but TYT seems very melo, dark romance. Watch the trailer if you haven't. I would love to watch Dew and Nani again in the thriller Home School, too.
Have you watched Ep 5? That episode takes Bright and Tu's chemistry to a different level!

I think if they make it a happy ending, ML with FL, and SML with the dessert princess, people would've rated higher, do you think? Although in real life sad endings happen, people die for any cause than old age, but I don't get sad endings in dramas that are supposedly people's hope and dream (happy ending).
Yes, it seems like werewolves are not common for a story in Asian dramas/movies since they have the fox demons myths. I wonder if the writer got the inspiration from the popular Twilight since there is a werewolf character there.

This I took from his MDL page posted 3 days ago. Fans always put updates on the case: "A new statement of NRTA (National Radio and Television Agency / China) has been issued, again, about them NEVER boycotting ZZH and NEVER ASKING for boycotting him or any of the characters he portrayed." I really don't know if this NRTA statement is true or not. Unless I saw a printed statement or official link, or anything that proves the source, things are still unclear.
