What the heck just happened in the end? Can anyone explain
It's an open ending leading to S2 I guess. Prince Nan Wang faked and declared the deaths of Yi Chen, Wan Wan, and his assistant (I forgot his name), but Xiao Man is missing. Since they're officially dead Yi Chen is no longer the master so he lets his assistant go to find Xiao Man. Yi Chen and Wan Wan went to their next investigation and the end.
People are shocked with the ending of Ep 8 where it looked like Cein hit Jeha with a brick... But I don't believe…
I don't think Cein hit Jeha, even if it was accidental. I think it's Jeha's trick to get them out of the situation, knowing Cein is being videotaped by his brother's friends. He pretended to collapse. That kid has a lot of tricks his sleeve.
I just realized, the title of this drama is "Begins ≠ Youth" and the title of Ep 12 is "Begins ∞ Youth" with…
I didn't read the Webtoon... but based on my watching experience, if they want to make a time travel drama, the drama should end with an open ending indicating Hwan's start in time traveling in Season 2. Similar to Weak Hero Class 1 where the ending of the drama is the start of the Webtoon, which will be in S2.
But, the drama can also exclude the time travel theme, like you were worried about. The main theme then will be the coming-of-age story, how their friendship and bond help them survive the world.
Tho I still wondered who texted Cein that night not to let his mom alone... I thought at first it was the time traveler...
Ep 8: "Unless someone has lived your life, no one has the right to say anything about it. Whether you survive like a cockroach or like an emperor, only those who've lived the same life have the right to judge it." 💜💜💜
only saw ep 1 so far. she(FL Kim Hye Yoon) is soooo cute! 💜
Wait until you watch the scene in Ep 2 where she smiles brightly while holding a yellow umbrella and running towards the 'delivery guy' because her package arrives... you'll fall for her!
Ambiguous, open to viewers' interpretation. She is back to the modern-day setting and is heartbroken, then drops a ring in a modern-day setting. Later someone with an ancient garb and shoes picks the ring up. But it doesn't show his face, so people can assume he time-travels to the modern-day.
Technically speaking according to the "old custom of bride stealing" whoever snatches the bride, she belongs to…
Marriage in Chinese ancient traditions are official after the bride and groom performed the “three bows”. In this case, it means she's not married to anyone and doesn't belong to anyone.
