It's a happy ending but you kinda have to interpret it that way. They won the final battle and the big villain dies, and world peace is achieved. ML and FL got married but she dissipated because of her illness. He gave the throne to someone else and looked for her for seasons. Finally he 'found' her in the old hut they used to live in. But of course, the usual Cdrama ending doesn't show her face but the door is opened, he looks up, and smiles. That's why I was being sarcastic in my post below about the door.
[Sarcasm]... That door has a modern technology sensor, it opens automatically when the facial recognition camera built inside the snowman identifies his face... I guess she was too busy filming another drama project that she had to leave in a hurry after building the hi-tech snowman... Nobody is there... 😒😒😒
Watching the final episode with AI sub, the translation is so atrocious... Not only that in some places it translates Bai Cai to 'cabbage', in another place it even translates her name to 'kimchi'... How is love triangle ?? FL is married already or just making some sort of story ??
FL is already married to ML, but something happened I don't want to spoil you further. She lost her memory and SML kinda saved her and lies about her identity. FL doesn't love SML but out of courtesy she agrees to marry SML. Then dun dun dun... ML shows up and tells her about her identity and that they're married. But ML hates FL for some reason.
Hahaha... we never knew what would happen in the future... If/when the ban is lifted: two meanings. One, if China releases any other BL adaptations I may write a recap of the drama (tho for costume/historical dramas it's more difficult for me because they have so many names/characters). Two, if MDL permits people to write on BL dramas I can help you if you want to write one 😉
Darn it... Lan Jiang! 😭😭😭 I like Li Ge Yang since I first saw him in My Amazing Boyfriend S2. Glad to see him here and to see him again as Male Leads in his future dramas. He deserves more attention.
