Indeed! Fans of LYF come from all walks of life and will have different POVs. Diversity in POVs is what makes a forum interesting. We do not have to agree with each other, but it is important to keep comments respectful. Just agree to disagree and move on. Name-calling and bashing hurt discussions because some people become afraid to comment or even ask questions, and others will just leave the forum.
The LYF characters are flawed in their own ways which makes them, them. If CX did not have the ambition of a CEO maniac, he would not have been able to become the Emperor of DaHuang. If Jing was hard hearted, killing Hou without a 2nd thought, he would not be the kind Jing we know, and kindness is a quality XY admired. If XL was soft, how would he be able to survive through all the hardships of his youth and become the 2nd in command of a rebel army?
It is what it is, the way their creator TH intended it to be. Let's enjoy the story, have a robust discussion and enjoy the banter.

Ikr. My friend now spends so much every month on colour maintenance products, conditioners and her hair is a bit straw like at the ends. As a gal, a bald head is not one of the options for her. 😅

I want the formula to go from blonde to beige to ombre. And oh, perhaps that colour combi for XL's silvery white grey hair? A friend sat for 8 - 9 hours in the hair salon to achieve a silver white grey colour. She said they gave her the strongest bleach and it hurt a lot. She left the salon with sore scalp, sore butt and sore back. 😅 Was it beautiful? Yes it luckily turned out gorgeous and more so when set in loose curls. But for all that pain for a hair colour that is so hard to maintain...I'll pass unless there is a magic formula for it. LOL
