I noticed it also was weird while he stormed into the kitchen.6.59 gets wound7:00 holds wound 7:52 storms in holding…
Hahaha crazy. But this is how I realised I was watching a low budget production. Still wondering how they got it so wrong. Obvious opportunity to show guy's abs was missed. Maybe he felt self-conscious so they changed the position of his wound entirely. π
I think the author wanted to show that Sun's true happiness comes not from revenge, but from healing, self-forgiveness,…
Yeah I get that but I still expected the bad men to get punished. Sunny was human trafficking other actors. The ending was underwhelming. Sun didn't even make acting progress for me to feel satisfied about his growth. π₯² I feel like they could have made a better ending than this.
Jay and Sun had had a past encounter, a one night stand, way before they met at Jay's company. Jay didn't recognise Sun since he had worn a disguise that night. According to the novel, Jay had immediately begun to suspect Sun was that man but the drama misses that point royally. Also there was no need to be horrible to Sun. Sun had a very unique tattoo that Jay later uses to identify him. And to even look at that tattoo, he manhandles him and starts disrobing him.
The drama made it seem like he had no idea who Sun was so he was seducing him for his entertainment and discovering that Sun was the same man was just more fun for Jay.
This part was very annoying because I really hate when they depict men forcefully kissing and caressing the one they like but if the drama makes it seems like they are doing it just because they can, it is SO MUCH WORSE.
Ep10: I said I wanted the rapist to drop d..d and he really did. π Got shocked right in the pacemaker.
Who shot the white haired dude? I also forgot who Wave (one who died by drug overdose) was.
I am disappointed with the ending. That fat rapist was not the only problem. He was supplying actors and trainees to other men. The whole organisation should have been brought down. I thought Jay and Sia (man who owns Alice) would have given police evidence through the recordings he collected to arrest and charge all those people.
I thought Sun would actually get famous as an actor or at least get the lead in a drama and Sunny would get arrested for killing a man. Sun's payback ended up taking a complete back seat by the end when that was the whole point of the drama. Sunny's ending just seemed unrealistic.
In the real world, Sunny/Bank would instead just find new investors and news agencies to say that he has plenty of projects lined up (since the public didn't even know of his involvement). Or he'd move to another Asian country and start supplying boys to be raped there. Same way the other actor in the hit and run escaped arrest and was forgiven.
The ending for the leads was also okay. The main thing I enjoyed about this drama was the fast pacing which kept me interested, and the use of humour to cut through the tense situations.
On ep 11. So far so good. I like the series.
