At no point was this male lead evil. In episode one, his motivations were explained and we even saw him go to a psychologist. He wanted a divorce/ escape that wouldn’t have her family harm him. He never wanted her dead. Any cruel motivations were instigated by his friend, never him. He was happy he’d be free, not that she would die. Also, his he’s an unreliable narrator.
Wedding impossible is different, though. Still, when he realised he was attracted to the female lead, he distanced himself from her until he realised (wrongly) that his brother was playing her.

I apologise if you read any disrespect. It was unintentional. Also, I’d assumed you’d meant you thought he was bi, which is why I mentioned how surprised he was that people said he had a girlfriend in one of the first two episodes. His emphasis on “girl?!” implies there’s no way anyone would have evidence of him ever being with a female. Hence, gay and not other.

Which show are you watching to have that theory? The first time we see him he’s waking up in bed with a man. They became friends after she made herself his beard because he was being bullied for being gay. He was shocked people thought he was dating a woman in the beginning. His male ex is tormenting him. she just said “he found out” after realising his brother knows he’s gay…. Like, there isn’t a straight bone in the character’s body.

Oh, they lost- oh…. it all makes so much sense. I mean, it all made sense before, but now even more so. The end was perfect. This is it. She needed to be vulnerable first to heal their marriage and snap him out of his breakdown.
Alas, timing. I’m glad it’s happening now and not later, though.

I know she must, but I’m hoping this is the one show where the other party never finds out. Everyone who knows just manages to keep hush and the files get deleted in time🤣

This shocked me, truly. There are people out here who really think he WANTS her to die? Surely, his elation over her impending death is a stress response. Dude is having a functioning breakdown. He’s stressed, depressed and his anxiety kept mounting at the realisation that the family would bury him if he tried to leave. He gathered all his courage, frustration and anger to go deliver the papers and …. ah…. what wonderful news. He doesn’t have to suffer for that much longer. Ah, he doesn’t have to risk his life being ruined and the disappointment of those around him by trying to leave… He couldn’t see her through his own pain. Looks like it’d been that way for a while. She needs her husband to be there on her side, too.

oh. oh…I watched episode 20 and thought that was it until Tuesday…I didn’t notice they were all here. I chose the best day to binge this show!!! yay!!!

I understand all of Hae In’s actions. The actress is superb. The story is from Hyun Woo’s side and I’m fully on hers.

As a child, he basically bought the grandfather’s assistant and is now working with that assistant’s relative. Ji Han is all about schemes. He’s so wonderfully clever.

So….they both needed the other to be on their side…… Okay. They can start now. Well, HE needs to start first, but considering he’s in the middle of a breakdown, I’m hoping the ex pushes him.

I recommend making sure you're logged in before you switch countries. Canada usually works for me (Nord and Express), but you can try switching browsers or find another country (this series is also in Japan). If anything, clear your cache when you swictch countries for Netflix and Disney.
