Yup. This needs better jokes, better actors (and Baek Ji Won getting more screentime), better directing, screenplay... .This show is just bad at all those crucial departments.

I just finished the first episode. Although I didn't find it as funny, I loved the emotional aspect- of her hatred…
Yup, episode 1 was decent enough.

Anyone think FL looks Chinese more than Korean also liking her loud voices
She's so Korean. She looks pretty tall and sporty than most romantic FLs we usually see. I think comedy is her specialty, seen her in several comedy movies and series which I really liked. I think this is my first time seeing her having a serious love interest. We'll see...

Let's get it!
Loved the FL in 'Work Later, Drink Now', and, of course, the ML in 'Extraordinary Atty. Woo'.
I think this drama is gonna be good and fun as well.

Sorry Not Sorry 0.3, finale 0.4 (Soompi) https://www.soompi.com/article/1724580wpp/sorry-not-sorry-heads-into-finale-on-slight-ratings-rise
Its predecessors had 3-4% ratings, aired at same time slot. Ah, 0% rating range says a lot about how unwatchable this drama is.

O.4% viewership
It just broke its own record.
How low a rating can a drama on a major network get?
People just gave up watching.

Sorry, what I meant was: the lowest rating in dramas broadcast on major TV channels like KBS, SBS, MBC. (Please excuse if I edited my prior comment to include the right info.)

Kick Kick Kick Kick has the lowest rating (0.7%) in the history of terrestrial dramas.

Sorry Not Sorry is on cable KBS Joy, a bit of a niche channel and so expected to have fewer viewers than the mainstream TV channels.

for the massive budget this was, they couldn't even hire an astronaut/space medicine consultant to advise the…
Same thoughts. Also, even if they couldn't find busy astronauts, they could have just done deeper research into this space thing -- everything to know is pretty much one click away now. There is also a bunch of good scifi flicks they could have studied. Even average viewers like me can find some things in this drama bothering and annoyingly unrealistic.

I see even now the rating is still freefalling. Some good actors in this drama just wasted.

There are shows that are called Absurdity humor. They help take your mind off everything you aren't suppose to…
I have seen great and bad comedy shows. This one is just bad on so many levels.
Comedy requires great timing, natural and almost uncaring acting, and intellectual punches do help greatly, among others.
I stopped midway the first episode. It just doesn't make me laugh whatsoever. I am rooting for an actress so I might continue and skip to her scenes or drop this altogether and move on to her next work.
Well, I think this is your show so I am not gonna rob you of any fun. Let's move on.

I remember the main actor's fans threatening to end the career of a young actress and blaming her for the low ratings of the drama they co-starred last year. His fans got mad whenever their favorite actor was being sidelined for a bit and the young actress was the focus in some episodes. They got so salty when people attributed the drama to the other main leads. Them ridiculous fans got served when the young actress got more buzzed than their favorite, and then they got even more salty.
Now that they got this drama all showing their favorite actor all the time with his cringe and overly theatrical lame acting and tv ratings are rock bottom, they are so silent, or probably still thinking who they are gonna blame. Tsk tsk....

For a show that's supposed to be funny, this one is so cringe and tiring. The production quality is just so poor from script to screenplay, and the acting is so forced, over-the-top, so unnatural and unengaging.
Can't shake this feeling that the main actor is so full of himself. I guess Korean viewers are not buying it as well.
It's even mocking well-produced and well-acted shows. No wonder it's a big FLOP.

I just read an article saying that Go Hyun Jung voluntarily gave up her appearance fee because she wanted this…
Admirable! She's already very rich and accomplished. Hope this comes out great. I kinda like humble series than extravagant yet hollow superficial ones.

Got released in theatres in Korea on Dec 31, 2024 but flopped, then went to Netflix.
Ehhh!? I get you facts, whether you like it or not. Now, let me say it once again cause I guess you're delusional. IT FLOPPED in Korean cinemas! Though it has gained a bit of traction on Netflix, the ratings are still down, and oops, it even slips down big time. IT'S NOT A BLOCKBUSTER YOU THINK IT IS!
You're right though, I am a hater of mediocre contents! Now, tell me what other facts you want me to tell you to knock some sense out of you?
I get you're a big fan of SJK or whatever. But telling people to back off and not put facts in public comments section and you get so agro, I don't know man. You better figure out how to buy this whole comment section to yourself if you easily get pissed off by facts, or better yet, block me. Sayonara!

Easy there, buddy. I stated a fact. It's doing pretty well on Netflix. What's getting you so pissed right now? Did you put your life savings on this film? Another fact for you: reviews are down both domestic and international. Take that buddy and go do better in your next investment.

Ju Ji Hoon is the real deal. His acting is so natural, powerful and engaging. He's not acting to look cute and pretentiously regal. I think most Korean actors act cute and all to hide their lack of skills, appealing to their fanbase who willingly accept anything thrown at them even if it's absolute mediocrity.
It really hits different when someone with immense acting talent takes the center stage - it's perfection!
