i saw the trailer and it's the worse plot ever. i m not coming back here, thank god i watched the trailer because…
Really? Oh god i was looking forward to this show for a while! Thanks for the heads up! I'll check out the trailer! Edit: unfortunately the english subs are not showing up on the trailer for me...
Totally agree about not having enough grieving time with Jack. I was just expecting Joke to just walk in to the…
Agreed! I do believe that these "fans" are way too deluded in their own thinking, in the sense that they believe they are right, and do not "deserve" being "betrayed" by their beloved cps, cuz they cannot differentiate the person from the character, the artist and crew as individuals, and not people in the story.
About guessing who the person saving K'Joke was, I never paid attention to his pants at all! You my dear have excellent excellent attention to detail! I'd love to know your theories on why it could be Jack himself! I might have some idea, but not too sure if its the same as your thought process! I did think that it could be Carbon's dad, or maybe even K'Aran's dad for that matter, or even Rose's dad! If its gonna be an ex of his, I'm gonna break into hysterics, and thoroughly enjoy the show nonetheless!!! Aw and thank you so much! You are too kind! You take care as well!
I couldn't agree more! like I said in previous comments, with a plot such as this one, with characters such as…
Yes totally. If the ep count was higher, we could get a good resolution to the story, and as you said, Phu finding out in ep9 could be perfect if we had 12-16 eps. I totally agree with your point about K'Jim's mind-reading! I'd hoped we'd get an explanation but alas! I'd assumed that his powers could even be connected with the parallel worlds existing cuz that's actually when he started getting interference in his mind when he went to visit the parallel universe's K'Cir from the audience's pov at least, and I really liked that they had him lose his ability to read minds once he confessed aloud, cuz the moment we saw him start approaching K'Wim, all I could think of was how their relationship would be, how would it progress, how could he ever be surprised with anythink K'Wim would do for him, and wouldn't it get awkward for him, and the fact that both of them would inevitably get hurt if he would have revealed to him about his powers and if he believed him then the entire debacle of him feeling like his privacy was compromised all the time? (hope I'm making sense...)
But now my question is that does his mind-reading not work simply on the person he loves, or is it that he's lost the ability altogether, like how Adachi loses his mind-reading after his 1st time with Kurosawa (Cherry magic)
I couldn't agree more! like I said in previous comments, with a plot such as this one, with characters such as…
Absolutely! Can you imagine uwma having just 10 eps instead of the 17 eps we got! That show wouldn't have been as amazing and as iconic as it is! I feel the story of this show is almost as complex as of uwma (or at least trying to be), and yet its just falling flat...
Girl just watch it! Its so totally worth the tears! And make sure to watch the post-credits!!!
🫠 It has a lovely mesaage at the end though... And for all you know, he could be alive, or you could really love the sp ep as well. You'll never know unless you give it a go!
✍ Hi guys, I think that means you get to choose the ending you want!🤯〰 Happy endings don't always happen,…
Totally agree about not having enough grieving time with Jack. I was just expecting Joke to just walk in to the scene every minute cuz why would weiters be balzy enough to kill off a main character and take the wrath and death-threats crazed mob of fans. So i was genuinely shocked when the credits rolled in, leaving me completely speechless and then having all the emotions wash over me! That message of learning to move-on is needed in the current world i feel I would have totally loved the special even without the post-credits scene, but i can understand where the creators of the show are coming from. They want to sleep peacefully at night, and not have nightmares of some crazy "fans" trying to end them...thats why i like japanese bls more. They are rwalistic, at least giving us sensible and logical endings, not just fan-service the entire show I do hope we get another season, or a mini series though, cuz ddaeng, we need answers now! Who is the scary fearful fellow who saved K'Joke!
it really wasnt as bad as everyone was saying.. but i def think they could have done the wedding better.. BECAUSE…
I actually like that they went with cardboard cut-out. Yes super goofy, but hey, it got the point across that Jack was not over Joke's death, was still in denial, and couldn’t process his grief that quick yet, and a picture frame would have definitely fu ked up his psyche even more. Idk why people hate it (i mean i do, i expected it as much, not believing for a second they killed him off therefore not actually going thought the emotions with the characters, telling myself just wait till he miraculously appears in the corner, until the credits rolled in, and i went SHOOKETH, JAW ON THE FLOOR, LAUGH-CRYING hysterically! Cuz the fans would cause a riot, hating on the writers, producers, and even the actors themselves if they did kill him, therefore not expecting THAT) but i thoroughly enjoyed it despite after realising Jack wasnt gonna see him ever again for real! Loved that they were balzy enough to "kill" him off lmao. We most certainly NEED/REQUIRE a season 2! Who on earth rescued Joke!? Why is he so shocked and scared of his rescuer/capture???
Okay, idk what all this negativity is about, cuz i actually really enjoyed the special! Yes the fight choreo could have been better, yes tge electric gloves could have have better effects, yes the rescue scenes could have been more stream-lined (looking at your mysterious disappearance Ai'Hoy), but hey, that was an EXCELLENT Special to a spectacular show!
Now, on to my thoughts. So even though we saw K'Joke fall into the river, i did not expect the writers to go with actually killing him, and kept telling myself "hah, just watch as Joke walks in to the scene any moment now" cuz lowkey i wanted the writers to actually be balzy and kill him off lmao, cuz yeah ppl will get their pitch-forks ready for a massacre if their beloved couple doesn't get a happy ending god forbid, but ALL the bls (Thai bls being the main culprits) these days do not dare have their audience go though emotional turmoil, and just sprinkle a homophobic parent here, a homophobic ex/friend there, and call it a day. But this! Thos HIT LIKE A TRUCK when the credits strted rolling!!!
Like My jaw was literally on the floor that they actually KILLED him off! Applause to the creators for such a balzy move! Truly! Then i went through the emotions, taking in the entire horror of the situation! I absolutely LOVED how they portrayed K'Jack's denial, his insistance on his beloved being alive. Quite realistic. And i LOVED how he sees his beloved one last time on the swing before deciding to accept the reality in its entirety
Now, I NEED A SEASON 2 ANNOUNCEMWNT PLEASE! WHAT WAS THE ENDING!!!!???!!! WHO SCARED JOKE THAT MUCH FOR HIM TO FALL BACKWARD AND STARE AT HIM WITH SUCH INTENSE FEAR ETCHED IN HIS EYES!!! Could it be K'Aran's dad? Or a past cell-mate? Maybe another person who's life he ruined during his Robin-hood era!??? Who is it!?!
Absolutely rushed And the strange thing is the pacing of the story seemed okay for the last 9 eps, in fact, a bit slow, and now BAM everything to be solved in tHe FiNaLe (maybe?)
Can it be that Cir has a double personality due to the trauma caused by his mother during his childhood? some…
Right! Mame has unintentionally written a really good rep of DID (multiple personality disorder) in my opinion lol Thats what i decided to roll with till we got to know K'Jin is a literal mind-reader😂
I am at a loss of words realising this is just 10 ep long...i WANT MORE K'JIN AND K'WIM!!! And also, idk how i feel about Phy finding out K'Cir's truth in the 2nd last ep...just feels oddly placed in terms of story-pacing right?? And please, i was expecting so much more out of the mom...she had 1 appearance...and you expect your viewers to fear her from just her being mentioned over and over...?? I need more drama and proper closure of her involvement in K'Cir's life, how he was separated from his brother, how they managed to still be in contact with eachother w/o their mom finding out. So much of story to tell!
Please I wanna see the moms! Want to see who's portraying K'Four and K'Wa! The actress who appeared as K'Wa sounded a bit like K'Charm (she played the role of K'Pin's aunt in The Loyal Pin) and I am really curious if my guess is correct or not lol
it will forever be criminal that this masterpiece of a novel only got eight episodes for its series adaptation,…
I am slightly happy I didn't go novel hunting for this then! But now I am interested in reading it after finishing the show! Is it available for free anywhere by any chance?
I don't know what people here are on about. Just watched ep 1, and I liked it. It has this sense of nostalgic factor which I can't describe. The story seems interesting so far. The acting is over-the-top cheesy, but if I can get over the main couple not looking like eye-candy, I can certainly bear it! I'll watch a couple more eps and see if it is truly as horrendous as described by these comments
Edit: unfortunately the english subs are not showing up on the trailer for me...
