My god! I looked up the killer you mentioned, and I'm appalled/horrified every time I come across real-life killers
What are your thoughts on Petrichor? Like it? its mids? need a bit more time to decide if its to your liking?
I def still have K'Boss on my list for now. I'm starting to suspect the coroner Dr Rin as well now. Idk ,I just her energy and entrance into the house of the last victim and her command over the crime scene felt odd to me. I might just be reading too much into it though

I'm probably the first person you've come across who does not like itsay,,, But yes, I totally get what you mean! Intimate moments in today's bl scene is just nude and NC scenes which is just bizarre when we could get actual emotionally intimate scenes where the characters will bring about all the feelings with just their actions and we can connect with them and even feel shy when we watch them finally kiss or have that first physical contact! Japanese bls usually have this perfect balance, followed by taiwanese bls, and lastly thailand bls which unfortunately are a few

Good catch! I didn't think anything of her till I put together her scene from last ep (I think) where she said she'll be handling all the death cases, and the last scene of today's ep how she imediately showed up and went to the room like she owns the crime scene!

I'm thinking either they work together, or under someone else, and might not even know of eachother's affiliation to the main mastermind

DAMN THAT was an episode!!!
As I watched the ep, up till 15 mins, my suspicions on K'Boss kept dwindling, and when the interrogation scene came, my suspicion went back up, and DAMN I did not expect him to kill director in that manner!
And when K'Orn started suggesting (a little aggressively if I do say so myself) to Dr Kant to euthanise their patient, my suspect list just shot up!
After that EXCRUCIATING PROMO for the next ep, here are my thoughts-
There's at least 3 killers. K'Boss and K'Orn might be working for/with someone else in whom they have complete belief- in that person's values, and have a strong passion/devotion and enthusiasm in the idea of euthanasia, and might have hoped that Dr Kant would come on their team and help relieve the patients of their suffering since he does believe in euthanasia

Finally, maybe K'Orn along with working for/with the killer might actually end up getting blackmailed if she decides to just stop euthanising their patients later, and hence the crying scene of her's in the promo!

The way I was whisper-yelling NO NO NO at the end of the ep knowing that what they found was Dr Kant's pen!!!! My poor baby take 1 step forward, 100 steps back!

PS: I still am suspicious of the killer having someone in the police dept, and maybe even have any one of the nurses (apart from K'Orn of course)

They are all blinded to a good plot and story execution by the excessive nc scenes unfortunately

Makes sense since it is set in the same universe as MOD! And I get what you mean, cuz even I had the exact same feeling when I watched ep 1 two weeks back!

I'm guessing it's as simple as them euthanising their patients even if it is against their country law

I did think the same while watching, that he could have spoken the truth from the get go, but then he'd have found himself in a bigger hole I feel cuz then he might have to answer why the director had him come over (instead of just having a call/text), why they ended up in an altracation, why didn't the killer take him away as well, and most importantly, why did the director believe Dr Kant was the killer!

Na I'm glad its only 8 eps! No fillers, no side characters, no unnecessary plot points! I wouldn't mind if it was 10 eps long cuz MOD was 14 eps after all, but they did have 2 side adorable couples and a very complex plot, a lot more than this show's I feel, at least thus far!

Absolutely on the same page with you! I adore these kind of shows where there isn't unnecessary nc scenes, and boring side characters. Just straight to the point/plot with no unneeded baggage and filler! And, lets not for get that palpable tension everytime our mains are talking to one another!

I'm better than okay cuz its already Wednesday!!!😂 Had to recall again what all had happened in last week's ep once the ep began, cuz damn, even the lighting and ambience of both the shows are quite similar!😂
Just watched the ep and damn! Just like you, even my suspicion list is all messed up! And I'm starting to have slight suspicions towards nurse Orn indeed! And I do hope she isn't an accomplice!
And that promo! I am still having K'Boss on the list for now cuz for all we know, he might either just be acting, or could have had fallen for the director at least a little bit cuz after all didn't he say the director was the reason he was able to get educated and reach to this point in his life and feel his loss! He might still be working for the killer as well. And according to the director's reaction, it seems like its someone he knows too

The entire trailer, I was only having thoughts on how similar it looked to Dakaretai Otoko, down to the "kabedon" scene in the rain, and that cigarette scene on the staircase. Finallt at the end when it displayed the "adapted from" I flipped out!
If anyone would have told me back when the anime aired that we would also get a live-action, I would have broken into a fit of hysterical laughter, but now that this is a reality, I'm way too stunned, and at a loss for words...!
Just hoping the script and line delivery is not cringe, and mostly realistic sounding!
Oh, and I DEFINITELY REQUIRE the engraved "mi tesoro" ring!!! And it better look real!

And you know what, this is the first time this is happening to me, and maybe that's cuz delulu me is hoping for Tan to make a cameo, and the actor is currently playing a role on another drama of the same genre. Therefore I am actually getting confused between the plots in both the shows, especially the murder stories! so two eps a week is actually a god-send!
Let me elaborate- When ep 2 came this week, I had to recall real hard if this story was the one with the raindrop killer, and today as I watched the other show, I had to reorient myself and recall what happened in that show's previous ep and not get the stories mixed up! I am talking about Petrichore btw which is the show that has the raindrop killer!😅
I wonder what's gonna happen to me next week during both the shows😂

Tbh, this is still a very common phrase used by many parents even today. My uncles, heck, even my dad still uses this exact statement on me and my sis even though we are well into in our 20s, so I'm guessing this is just an asian thing at this point

I agree with you on Dr Kan and nurse Orn euthenising the too far gone patients. Maybe the killer took this opportunity and started his killings. And it def looks like Boss and the director are trying to frame those 2, probably cuz either, scapegoats, or maybe the killer suspects there is a chance for Dr Kan or the nurse to follow the clues and guess the murderer!
