You know what, I don't think Moth is a red flag. Dean definitely is, but Moth is just in his own comfort zone, believing that its not love if he is expected to change, not realising that you need to meet the other person halfway to make a relationship work. I liked what his friend, Dr Punn, told him in ep 3. He needed to hear that. I can also see it from another perspective: his initial relationship may have been due to his looks, very superficial (as he says ppl approach him when he's alone, and we've also seen it in ep 1 and 2, including the guys who'd commissioned him for a piece), so he keeps everyone at arm's length. At the end of the day, yeah he is "dating" Dean as he wants his friend to move on from him, but he is doing it with the one person he expects to not actually fall for him: a complete playboy. At the same time, from ep 2's ending, we can concur that Moth might actually wanna give dating Dean a shot. Even his reaction to Dr Punn telling him it'll not last made me think he wanted to at least try feeling emotionally connected in an intimate manner.
Dean though...he is a red flag, properly using emotional manipulation tactics to get Moth to fall for him. I really liked Moth calling him out in the gallery. I do not know how many of yall will agree with me, but I actually would say that every activity Moth chose are excellent places for a date. You go on a date to get to know the other person, spend some quiet/quality time with them, but Moth not realising he's neglecting his partner is his lack of emotional intelligence. Whereas Dean's idea of a date is hanging out with a bunch of people his partner doesn't know, without any heads-up either, so Moth's frustration is very valid. If my bf/gf would take me to a gathering for a date, I would be PISSED, and probably think they aren't interested in me.
Dean developing feelings for Moth was a good twist though. I liked that. Same with Moth, but like I said earlier, it was hinted at with subtle clues sprinkled here and there that some small part of him might actually want this to work. I am really interested to see how they overcome or maybe accept their differences, and accept eachother for who they are! Depending on the script, the show has a very good chance of either taking a deep dive 600 feet under, or an excellent opportunity to be a phenomenal one!

Gonna go off on a rant here, sorry in advance😅 My sister in bl! I genuinely LOATHE Knot! The only reason i'm sticking around the entire show is...I don't even have a reason lol...I'm probably braindead! Its not just the acting that's bad. That script is atrocious!!! I cannot wrap my head around people actually enjoying it! And yes, even I'm a huge fan of omegaverse (not m-preg though, yet I was willing to give this a shot cuz 1st thai omegaverse show!) and was so excited by the potential this show had! I still remember the initial promo teasers they had where it seemed like Patsa actually turned on Nakhun, ready to kill him with a gun, believing their bond wasn't due to love but the bite! And we get this nonsensical, dumbed down story that isn't even remotely interesting, and all the lore is being spoon-fed for some reason as if we are new to fanasy! I didn't need to know the basis behind wizards and the wizarding world when I first watched Harry Potter, so why would I as an adult need explaination for the most simplest of plot points when I can just learn the lore along the way!!!! Its like they just kept the brand name for the attention, and forgot what actually makes omegaverse so much fun! The powers, the fights, the pack dynamic, the actual freaking destined mate-bond! And don't get me started on Patsa's dad! The most negligent father I have ever seen come onto my screen! And where was he when Pat got his 2ndry gender tested? who blocked and hid all the proof about him being a pure omega? why the hell is he still treated like a damsel??????like excuse me!!! And the entire mystery around who was constantly double crossing them??? You're telling me their father wasn't able to find out, but a bunch of 20 years olds were? Yup yup. My 1st point is just cuz i got irked by ppl saying they're dropping this cuz of the AI usage, which hurts small productions. I believe we should support small companies if the people behind the show are clearly enthusiastic about it, and have a clear and fun vision they are able to showcase, unlike the big production companies producing terrible shows and acting with huge budgets
Okay, I'm gonna stop reading the comments now. Most of them are pissing me off 1. They aren't using AI to replace actors. They're using it sparingly, when they felt they couldnt afford cg or proper animations as those are very expensive, as is its labpur, and this is a small budget show. I know most of yall will fight with me that they could have had Ni Chuan just monologue it without the animation, but that's not the director's vision, and we should respect that.
