Okay...I had high hopes for this show (despite it being CH3...low expectations, but high hopes the irony lol) cuz life after marriage lesbians! But the comments are really worrying me...Someone let me know, is this worth my time...? I'm not in the mood to watch mindless fights please. If the conflict and misunderstandings make sense then fine go for it, but if they're gonna be simply breaking up and getting together every ep, or if a MAN comes in the way, like ExCuSe Me!?! What did I read down below!!! then na, I'm out...I'll rewatch Ayaka Loves Hiroko 2 for the 10th time rather than this... Someone do let me know!!!
Anyone else feel K'Si's outcurst was unnecessary? And the way it was written was also too forced? I genuinely wanted to slap her through the screen when K' Klao was pleading for her to return home, and she was acting childing and stubborn. I would have let it pass if it had occured at the start of the show, maybe around ep 3-4 as well, but now her character has developed out of that personality, so the writers making her have that tantrum felt like character regression. She's matured so much by now. Also, her suddenly telling K'Klao that she's never scolded her, like what was the point of that statement??? I didn't get it...?She hadn't scolded her or raised her voice towards K'Si... As much as I hate K'Jane, them tying her up, then just dumping her in the middle of the field was very reckless and cruel. She's a country girl no matter her character. Irl, we would have found her either extremely dehydrated, on the brink of entering coma due to fever and whatnot, or just dead cuz who knows what could happen to her at night. The insects, animals, anything! Everything is dangerous at night in villages! Especially for city dwellers cuz our immune system is not used to such harsh conditions. And on top of that she had a busted lip so she could easily get an infection. And she remained tied when she got pushed off so violently. I get its for gags, but I feel there should be a limit. Cartoons and anime get a pass, cuz we can physically see its not real, whereas, our subconscious mind might not entirely for regular shows, hence why so many people in our gen are crazy about murderers and fiends cuz they are "cool" on TV
Sorry about that tangent hehe... Apart from that, absolutely adored this week's ep as always!
Heng played a (in the end ) good guy in "Somewhere Somehow".
Thanks for the heads up for Roller Coaster! I'll have it in my plan to watch list! GMMTV used their thinking hats! Really! Well that really hypes me up then! I'll give US a try as well!

How messy is Roller Coaster? I remember it has a love triangle, and at the moment I'm not very keen on watching messy romances, so much so that I've kept Broken of Love on hold after watching just 2 eps (though enjoying them). Not in the right mental head-space ya know. So no currently actively avoiding messy relationships, manipulation, lying, any sort of abuse. I'm in my "sweet summer child" era i feel🤣
I didn't watch US for 2 reasons: Chao PlaNoi's writing and series don't stick with me, rarely do I enjoy them, and 2. I gave up on GMMTV gls, though very shockingly, Enemies with Benefits has enthralled me in its entirety! I'm your moon 100% was underdeveloped, hence why i said I'd have rather preferred it if it was simply a period piece instead of trying to juggle 2 timelines

Oo really? I'll check it out then! My top 3 for last year have to be Claibell, Ayaka loves Hiroko 2, and RWM! "I'm your moon" would have also been included if it was simply a period drama, since the present storyline could have really taken its time to develop more. What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good period drama!

I haven’t watched it...I watched FayMay only in MY Marvellous Dream..., and couldn't even bring myself to finish it cuz of how braindead everything felt, and K'Fay's character (I think, i don't remember anymore honestly) character being an entire burning crimson forest. Good God that was a dumpster fire How is Somewhere, Somehow anyway?
Okay...I came to talk about the finale, and got lost in the disappointed comments for ep 7...like???I really really enjoyed ep 7! Girl the angst was palpable!
Anyway, I need to know whose idea it was to have the ep be almost freakin' 2 eps worth the run time like???? And I kinda sorta understand they decided to show us their married life instead of ending on their marriage, but, I feel, they could have easily had K'Lada's family's plot happen before the wedding (which btw, the dad deserves no sympathy and I cannot for the life of me understand why K'Lada's mom, who btw is the MISTRESS, has to look after him, like what????) and have the scenes of both our lovely workaholic ladies in the office as after the wedding. The wedding imo could have easily happened in another ep. EP 8 could have simply been about how K'Nam wins over K'Lada (which yes, I feel was RUSHED. Don't get me wrong, I love me some gut-punching proposals, but that wasn't it. I was literally screaming THAT...HOW...GIRL YOU'RE STILL SCARED OF YOUR DAD LIKE?!!!! And don't come at me ppl. I know our boss cleared her mom's name and all, but you're tell me that K'Lada will just suddenly be okay with her dad just out there...???and that she won't be scared of disappointing him...???that's not how it works!!!)
In other news lol, I liked how they chose to pass the bouquet to K'Lom, and idk why, but I felt it very reminiscent of the Devaprom series, and I would have absolutely loved it if that was somewhere around where The Water had concluded, passing the torch on to the next cousin, thereby lighting The Air's beginning.
Apart from my rant, This was Englot's 2nd show I genuinely loved, the other being Petrichore obviously. They have good chemistry and good enough acting-chops, just need good scripts and plots
Random thought as I was about to hit "post": The Water genuinely has a good enough plot to continue as a full fledged seasons long (at least another season) plot what with the rival hotel groups and all. I'd definately be down for it. No longer a story about women persuing e/o, but their life after. Sorta like how we got to see K'Mita and K'Prince from So Wayree with their kids in the spin-off Innocent Lies. I'm tellin' yall it has potential! And I'm def interested in what's up with K'Wat's married life with how it was hinted at by K'Lada's father that it was a marriage of business and not love, and he looked down like K'Lada noted on her wedding day, asking about his wife. Anyone down for this lmao?
EDIT: Somebody get K'Heng green-flag roles PLEASE! I fell in love with his character in SCOY, the only "normal" character on that show lol, and I did not expect this to be his trajectory for the roles he would have played.
Just watched the 1st ep, and guys, when I tell you I lost my shit when I heard the 2moons ost!!! I was literally controlling my screams! Damn its been so long since I'd heard it! Kinda sad I've forgotten most of the lyrics lol hehe... So far what I've watched, it is interesting, though I was constantly questioning oh so many of K'Wayu's actions towards the inspector. Like, dude, WHY...?
I might be the majority here, and I do not care cuz Ido not care about nc scenes! If i miss them, I'll just go back and watch the anime. Really liking tgis one cuz its just so goofy, and im ready to get my heart broken and fixed back!
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I' aware that Kelvin came from a rather f*cked up "family,"…
I didn't notice. For some reason in my mind, its Mame's work😅🤣 Danmei hmm...also worrisome. Toxic leads do somehow get "redeemed" and the mc lives happily ever after (looking at you MYAB and MSI)
i just dont know why would ken leave lalit alive if he had a chance
Right And i had hoped, the tiniest bit, that Lalit was actually ki*led by Kelvin, but alas, i knew to keep my hopes down down. Didnt see the twist though of Ken "rescuing" him, like??? What did he gain from that cuz didn't that happed a year back...why sit on that piece of information for so long?
Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... I' aware that Kelvin came from a rather f*cked up "family,"…
Dude absolutely! Kelvin is a certified psychopath! I will legit lose brain cells if they end up together! (And yes we have to expect a "redemption" cuz its a bl and the "fandom" will go beserk if they don't, and, its Mame we're dealing with so ugh) The Stockholm syndrome you mentioned, I'm not that convinced. It feels more like he knows that no matter what he does, Kelvin will capture him. So if he tries to escape, then he'll have to deal with an extra set of eyes and surveillance apart from the cctvs and Kelvin himself when he isn't around. Really enjoying the story thus far. It could have been streamlined more, but i do not mind as of now! Lets see what's my standing when the finale airs lol First time I'm not invested in the GL pairing actually. I feel they lack something. Not sure if its tge plot doing them injustice, or the hapazard back and forth between the main plot and the side plot (cuz that main plot is the buffet i live for!), or their chemistry. Something's amiss for me personally But then again, i haven’t been a fan of Mame's writing for lesbians so there's that
Someone do let me know!!!
