love her and love the character she plays. was that character written for her? it fits so well. but his character starts to lag. he appeared more complex and emotional in the beginning.
all the series episodes of secret of us ends like that
first episode is usually for free on their YouTube channel, the rest for members. watch them all ;) but they're all more artsy with open end or sad ending
heavily inspired by The Perfume , a novel and movie about a crazy guy killing women for their body scent. so, the idea had potential and it has pretty scenes but the writing was so bad. I bet a series without any drama and just them kissing happily in a field of flowers would have been way better. or just a normal conflict and not dead parents killed by the family of your lover. e.g. the country boy doesn't like the city and wants to go back to his flowers so they must find a compromise and why is nobody offering them good money for their scent? a bit more realism would have made this unrealistic scenario believable.
I'm hooked! what a twisted love story: he isn't who he says he is and she's not who she thinks! absolutely unrealistic plot but acting, chemistry, tension and production quality are so good, I didn't miss a day watching it.
it was beautiful and different than many other BLs. it reminded me of stories from Haruka Murakami: with some magic and surrealism. reality is complex, don't deny your existence.
does anyone knows what the series ends up on in the novel? i want to continue but im having a hard time which…
the series isn't following the novel. yes the main plot but so many things are left out and changed. better start from the beginning. series is only 20-30 chapters in.
