The story is good as it brought us to understand the ink making history. it showed us the struggles , competitions and survival. However, focusing too much and repeating again and again long scenes of ink makings added with the long dialogues were just too much. Anyway, Yang Zi was superb in her character.

Just started watching this wuxia drama....I like the fight scenes and the cameramen did good jobs in capturing them. Good actings by the main roles. No romance but the story is clear and flows well so far.

This story was so good from the start, the plot, flow and actings were so good. Supported by good costumes, good job bu the costume department. However, the final episode was a disappointment due to the ending which was like after watching it made me said..That's it?? Anyway, I like the way Ci Sha portrayed the ML character, suits him well. Morale of the story, obsession will make people greedy and fall at the end.

I didn't expect to be hooked with this drama but it is GOOD and I keep looking forward for new episodes. The story is interesting and just flows well while the actings of both Ci Sha and Ren Min made the story interesting. Good chemistry for this drama made them looked good together. Good job.👍

The story started well, strong FL character and mysterious ML. Then slowly FL becoming weaker and weaker. How many times had she almost die and been saved by ML? A few repeats of the same made me a bit fed up. No real kissing in this drama between ML and FL ( totally understand as ML is married). No worries, the actings were good. However, it was an open ending, both survived but ML don't recognise FL anymore...that's it.

I was wondering why the rating is bad as I was quite satisfied with Rebirth. One thing for sure, I have not watched Princess Agents so I wouldn't know the beginning and how the story flows. I was impressed with the young actress as FL as she carried a strong aura in her character and good acting by her. Age gap is not a problem as I can appreciate them as despite that, LYR gave as much as ge can to ensure the love can be felt. He didi well as ML though I wished his appearances in the scenes were much more. ZKL as 2nd ML was also good as Yan Xun who was so obsessed with Chu Qiao. The cinematography was good and using suitable costumes and makeups made me appreciate the production team. Reasonable ending for me. Recommended to watch this drama with open mind.

Confusing to the end. Actings were good but I have problem with the story itself.

I like the actings better than the story. A bit disturbed with the non seamless flow of the story but I like Arthur Chen's style in being clingy with Dilraba...looked so sweet together. Anyway, the final episode was so emotional..nice one.

A good crime drama and I loved the plot. The villain was really ruthless and cunning. Good actings by JBR and QJJ as MLs. Anyway, I enjoyed watching this drama.

wondering why when the drama is good, the rating is low?

Sceptical at the beginning but as the story grow,s I find it interesting to watch.. Good fight scenes and beautiful cinematography. Despite the age gap between FL and ML, the actings were convincing. Looking forward for new episodes.

A good start for this drama. Yes, I do think the actress is a bit young but see how it goes. Li Yun Rui for sure..looking forward to his actings in this drama. Zhang Kang Le is good in his character and I can understand if he wanted revenge based on what Yan Xun experienced. The pace of this drama is ok so far.

The story is quite typical mafia type drama. FZX as ML had delivered good acting for this drama. His emotions changes according to situation pretty well. However, I found the FL was a bit stiff in her acting and quite disappointing to me especially when the ML was so good. Anyway, the ending was also questionable as the ML ending was not properly closed in the drama.

I love the dreams, wished that I can experienced the same. A good drama to show 'Girl Power' but yes the advantage was that she was from the future. Anyway, good actings by FL to carry the role from a teenager to a matured lady that runs business seriously despite the obstacles she faced in life. worth watching this drama, only that I wished the ending can be elaborated a bit.

Congratulations to this drama. A good story with a blend of humours and seriousness. A few strong characters in this drama that made significant impact mainly the villians such as Qi Min, Wei Yan, Sui Yuan Ching and the entertainer like Gong Sun. What I like about the story was that while giving reasonable focus on the other support characters, the drama still maintain the importance of ML and FL to have reasonable presence in each episode. Minor flaws were there which left some ?? but minor impact to the main story. The chemistry of ML and FL was beautiful to watch right from the start. 2ML is a villain who was so vicious and yet in love with 2FL was also good to watch. Exceptional acting by Tian Xi Wei especially , she can do humour naturally beside the other emotions pretty well. Good castings of actors, good script and editing, beautiful cinematography and camera works. Nice and suitable costumes used, not overly done for the character. OSTs were ok too. Congratulations to production team, especially the Director, screen writer and the actors that bring the story to the quality it is.

Tried to appreciate this drama so I insteaf of dropping it, I continued till the final episode. In terms of the story itself I found it messy as the story evolved around 3 main couples and Lao Gong character has his own story and then you have Mdm Guan in between. Frequent black and white scenes for flashbacks and the long duration of it in each episode were just not for me. Prefer Mandarin as compared to English song, more realistic for a C drama. The only thing I like in this drama is the way frienship and bonding being portrayed for the four friends.

Superb acting by Tan Xi Wei, the best so far from her. She made the story lively. The other one that captured my interest is Deng Kai as the main villain, so evil but you like to see more of him.

I love this drama as it showed the reality in life in the 70s and the struggles they faced. If not directed and acted well this drama can be dropped half way but I watched to the end. Congratulations to production team and the actors that did a great job in bringing the story alive. Arthur Chen and Su Qian performed superbly, very deep the emotions and I can follow their struggles and dreams clearly. . Dr Qu Hua and Fang Mu Jing charcaters were also delivered well. The 'pain in the ass' character, Feng Lin was really effective innthis drama. Well done.

I like the combination of Zhou Yiran and Bao Shang En in this drama..you can feel the youthfulness of their styles in the characters. Zhou Yiran as a ML has a strong charisma and deep impact in his character.

Wow...she is so stubborn but with a cause and being loved by a wonderful man on this drama..what can I say, Bai Lu as FL played her stubborn character superbly and Wang Xing Yue as ML complement the dominant FL character nicely. Their chemistry was also good. The only part that left unattended was the Mastermind who just got away easily without closure on his part. Anyway, I enjoyed watching this drama.
