Remember of everyone who attended the interview, the chairman chose her as bodyguard. He sees more than what is presented , remember he hired her despite her juvinile conviction after asking what she was wispering to the wall post venting her anger thrashing it with her broken shoe. He hired when she said she said sorry. Also, he asks her why she went to juvinile detention for such a small amount. He sees bruises ln her arms, i guess he suspected already she was abused as a child and going to juvenile detention was her way of protecting herself from the abuser(s)... it basically says he is good, caring person. Also his not remarrying , and bringing up kids of his ex wife suggests the same. ..i guess his widowed wife saw his good nature and married him. But her children dont see that. They see a man who was in a small job, who climbed up to be owners husband, who died 1 year after, and he iwns more shares than them.. and seeing him taking action against them in company matters ( obviously that how he made the company survive) when they tried to run substandard projects... their anger grew more..they saw a usurper in him.. not someone who raised them after their mothers death..someone who protected and grew their wealth.. daughters seems like the evil one, son more like her weak follower...

Their widow mother died 28years back, they must be too young to have done anything to her. Daughter looks like in her 40s..so basically could be a teenage? Son could be may be around 10

Why create an exprdinary background ...normal would have been more blending.. remember the ingerviewer asks her what she is doing there with such credentials.. also, extraordinary catches more attention, generates more talk.. her presence shines through that village .. how is that helpjng?

He married rich widow . He was factory manager. Widow had 2 children. She died 1 yr after marriage. Its been 28yrs since then . He raised her kids, also grew the company to current state. So is it only his dead wife's money, ... he ensured her company survived and grew. Didnt remarry. Ensured her kids grew healthy and well. I think he would hv been fair if they weren't so cruel and killed his daughter... he doesn't seem like a bad guy... just a father seeking justice for his daughter

2 things amuse me about the korean dramas..almost everyone going on and on about someone being pretty or handsome (to their face.!) or about so much talk on foods , especially beef (korean beef to be specific!)... i wonder if this is a drama thing or korean society thing...

Ep1: why she has to look so groomed for inteview for teachers position? while stating she doesnt want to stand out in a village that is suspicious of outsiders.. she could have toned down and tried to blend more.. she stands out more by looked that groomed..

i like the clothes designed by YAN studio..are these kind of designs specific to a region in china? any knowledgable folks who know more about the designs

am surprised at fenglei's parents. There is a great secret hidden from them , and they dont know about it. arent the business families supposed to know everything about their wards???
it seems their parents left them on their own ... a child takes 9 months to be born are they totally out of touch with their elder daughter?

and the younger one is running around totally like a loony.. totally absenty parents..

May be her sister is love of his life.. and may be he misses her a lot. And maybe sees some resemblance in her.. but jilust in time realises she is not her...

i understand ML's reason for hiding truth about his son. would you hand over weapon to someone whom you know wields every tool in her/their poessession to achieve personal goals.. he thinks she is in for fame and wealth and uses fraudulent menthods to achieve them.. so why will he confess blackmail potential information to her..????? he did it to protect himself and his family and son from any potential blackmail or harm... i dont see anything wrong in this...

what he did wrong is , coming out as feeling immense disgust towards her since beggining since she is a fraudster and to pretend to love while he didnt.. thats hisbig MISTAKE.. and also threatening her with career loss and actually enabling her career loss

as for his manipulative methods.. for all long term C/L drama lovers - when have u not seen dramas where such methods arent norm at that level of high soceity circles.. its a vicious circle.. none can escape without engaging a bit in that game.. do i approve such methods , i dont.. but do i understand their engaging their methods , i do now after all these dramas egave me a peek into their world 😂🤣... now a days i dont even enjoy cindrella stories or root for love stories between unequal social status people

well said!! when FL's acquaintance engaged in similar tactics as her , even she couldnt like his approach or empathise .. so even a fraudster doesnt appreciate it when someone else does it...

though it was fake, for sometime, FL felt a sense of love and security. i think that slap is more for shattering that than anything ...

yes...and also bring their granny to live with them..why spend on double rents... actually i want both to go back and start something there..remember she met some uncle on the way when she was vsiting her granny who told her how he has been doing well back in vilage after leaving city ..they should try that...and live with granny

his redeeming quality is not abandoning his child based on his parents advice. ..though they pass off that kid as his brother..

she didnt try to harm him using the kid;s news ,,,, in my eyes , that makes her a better human , she has redeeming features.. irrespective of everything , she knows what she should not do , the levels she should not stoop to..

It feels sad to see her start at zero., luckily, atleast, its not some one trying to exploit her fall..
and yes, ML had humbling experiences , being kicked off to smallest branch in remote corner with no staff accompanying

There are people chasing fame and wealth in this world. But she was not chasing those, She was chasing love and security and she thought she found them in him. He was confused it was the 1st she was chasing, and trying to threathen her with it.. she is moving away since that was not the case and it wad love and security always. Not knowing this bit will make him think she will NEVER ealk away , and making him wonder when she walks away.. he may have ressarched a bit, but would not have totally grasped what her actual deal is.... this will prove costly to him...when reality hits him ...some history from her upbringing would have helped him understand, i guess no one who really knew her spoke to him during his research

Ep15: clearly its ML who made anonymous tip about falsified family background . And some meddling in her career too...am happy she resigned.. if she will or will not spread rumour about his son will determine which of them is a much better human than the other... she can easily hit back too, and it will hurt him deeply as well, but if she doesnt ,i will root for her.. despite everything if she will not stoop to the level of hurting a young child, she has redeeming features. Now that shackles of career and false life fell off, everything is a gain in my opinion. She has skills , she will do well in what ever field she takes up...

will read it after the drama ends, else will be difficult to enjoy either of them ..
