I had mixed feelings when i watched it the first time. I liked it better, rather loved it the second time around. when I think back why I felt the way I did the first time , this was what I found. 1. I didn't like lusi's baby voice when she was 17 year old and her child like body language 2. they have hypeed the age difference as if it was some 10 years or more.. it was just 5 years . and it was ok to talk about age difference when she was 14 yr old.. the moment she crossed 18 , age really didn't matter .. 5 years age difference is nothing. they made it sound again and again in repeat mode as if it is a big thing and he is really old ..
while watching 2nd time.. i have come to terms with first point #1 .. they wanted to show her growth.. young girl (played by a child actor) to lusi's 17 old self .. to 18 + version in college.. it didn't bother me much ...
but I really think they did disservice hyping the age difference quite a bit... ML looks so handsome and looks very young.. and that 5 yr difference doesn't show at all..
Also, the only thing that bothered me was , he should have confided to her brother before going ahead with her. from her brother point of view this is a back stab - they invited ML into their home with open heart - trusted him around their daughter and he goes ahead to date behind their back.. technically no issue with that as both are adults .. but from their point of view , its breach of trust ..
Hmm timeline is a bit muddled. He talks about his parents and brother incident that occured at age 6... she remembers an incident about her mother at reasonable older age .what vehicle are they hinting she loves to drive? What age can one drive? Isnt it not one can drive above 18? .. ..and at this point they must be 17/18...ok.. bit confused here...so his mother was there at age 6..her mother seems to have left when she is a bit grown up..so their mothers aren't same... am.not even sure i understood ep1 well at this point 😂😂😂... why did it occur to me both their mothers are same 🤔🤦♀️
Am waiting eagerly for the actual action to begin with regards to that ghost seal ... wonder when would it starts ..whats the story behind it..who does it belong to..and how did it get triggered in the mine... was it triggered by whomsoever to kill everyone in the mine and somehow MLs father disabled it , but couldnt save anyone? And also caused collapse of the altar/mine?
their scene in the carriage, and xiao zhan eye expressions was too good.
Ehat a tense scene that was..it vould have gone either ways... it seems its not yet time for ZH to die..else how would one explain his survival , time and again
Pushing the labourers who build the beautiful tomb to death by feeding them poisoned food and locking then up…
I would think it is normal in those times... if any spl technology is used to protect tombs , rehy were killed more so no one knows the building secrets
Despite not being shown, the drmaa does a good job of sketching out the emperor character. He is someone who both…
The audacity of some of the officials is beyong belief . It seems there is absolutely no rule of law. Anyone can be eliminated with a few words.. and no one cared
As someone pointed out ZH is surviving like a cats with 9 lives ... and every time some half a dozen are dying at the alter of cruelty...what kind of emperor doesnt know how the talented and smart subjects are taken out by corrupt in his kingdom???... if the emperor is really sleeping on his job, he deserve to lead such a state and be so useless
The last thing we see before the screen fades to black is that he's reaching for the cube-shaped (?) object that…
hmm..now i wonder what is that "thing" that marquis massacred him/family and his disciplines for? is it the cube thing? and if so , then it opens up a lot of questions on what actually went through in the mines before ML's father went down to check..
