Well this episode did not go the way I thought it would go *insert sad laugh*, like yo man...thanks for the tears.
It's crazy how in the end(not the end end since we still have one more episode to go) everyone(especially Phupha) tells Tian to do what he wants, to live his own life and make his own decisions and yet Phupha's decision is final and Tian has no say. Look, I understand that Phupha is doing everything in the best interest of Tian, I mean we saw how hard he took everything. But I also feel like Tian's wishes and feelings were once again shoved to the side. His parents want to give him autonomy yet it must be under their rule, he wants to stay at the village and continue being with the chief but yet he can't because the chief wants him to live a life that Tian doesn't want.
That poor kid just wants to make his own decisions, he wants to live life the way he finds fit. Everyone keeps saying he is the one in control of his life yet they are literally the ones controlling his life. It's emotional abuse if you ask me(yeah I said it).
It's a no brainer that they love each other but they just aren't meeting in the middle. One is willing to lose the person they love so that that person can live a 'happier' life and one the other one is willing to give up everything just to stay with the person they love. None of these sides are wrong, I just hope they fight harder to be together(COME ON EP 10!! GIVE ME THE GOOD STUFF!!).
Tian's parents are acting as though Tian can't come and visit them. I'm just saying let the child be in control of their lives, let him do what he wants and achieve what he wants on his own.
On a ligher note...who else died laughing when they saw Phupha with a beard? *spirit continues to laugh insanely*. I was not ready *insert laugh*, I went from sad and crying to a laughing mess *still laughing*. It made me forget about how heavy this ep was.
you should watch it!! i don't think the reviews are mixed because this is a bad or even an average bl, they are…
It's obvious that Torfan(the lady who gave her heart to Tian) liked the Chief but I can promise you that in the end Tian falls in love with the Chief not because of the heart of someone else. I was also worried about that but that's not the case. Tian didn't go there to fullfil Torfans love for the Chief. Rather he went there to give closure to the villagers and complete Torfans wish.
I recommend that you watch, overall it is a beautiful bl.
I'm not ready for today. Pha has no right to die or fall into a coma because he still needs to apologize to Tian. I juat wanna see the both of them actually happy and together. Stay alive Chief!
I personally am a big fan of 2gether and Still 2gether. The movie wasn't needed but you bet your cutie patutie BL loving self I'm watching the movie(fingers crossed it'll be made available for international fans). I see that some of yall didn't like the BL and that's cool, I just hope you aren't bashing it for its lack of skinship. Idk why we always over sexualize gay relationships whereas in a straight relationship you don't expect much from them. We get different types of relationships and one of them is couples who don't have a lot of skinship with one another. Besides Still 2gether gave us plentyfull in the end. I for one am a fan of such relationships, yes it did bother me at some point when they would high five each other but whatever man, it was still a great BL. Hate it for a boring plot, terrible acting, terrible editing, terrible music, etc. Stop wanting every gay relationship to consist of kissing and sex and stuff, it's really toxic. You can watch a kdrama where the ML and FL hold hands for the first time after 10 episodes and kiss after 14 episodes and yet you blow a gasket when it's a BL couple? Check your double standards.
To all of you who can't wait for the movie, cheers! See you on the 22nd of April #BrightWin #SarawatTine
Muren and Li Cheng are still my favourite couple, though I don't like how Li Cheng is using Muren(though he is now aware of it) to get Mei Fang. I mean she told him countless times that she isn't interested in him and yet he is still going after her? I think Muren is my favourite character so far.
Okay, I'm not a fan of step sibling relationships. I'm working on resolving it but I just can't bring myself to like it. I think it's because of the added conflict it brings between the characters, their parents and the rest of society. Also the fact that Yong Jie is literally my least favourite character(for obvious reasons) to be paired up with the sweet Xing Si. I was low key happy when Li Chen fought and won against him in the boxing match. He deserved it, I get you like Xing Jie but that's not how you handle 'competition'. He didn't even mean his apology, so yeah I was happy when Li Chen got his revenge on behalf of Muren.
I skipped the scene where Yong Jie was brushing his hand against Xing Si's cheek. I felt really uncomfortable, Yong Jie is really creepy and not my vibe. It's obvious that Xing Si likes him as well but the step brother thing is holding him back from fully opening up to his little(step) brother.
Also...when they did the flashback thing and they made Yong Jie a 10 year old kid and yet Xing Si still remained the same. Not gonna lie, I was mad uncomfortable with that scene. It did not sit well with me at all, it's like the director keeps giving me more reasons to not like their relationship. I am fully aware that they aren't blood related, Yong Jie is an unpleasant character, Xing Si likes him as well but the fact that they are (step)siblings is forever running through his mind, all this is just a mess. Hopefully not for long.
I don't know if this is a good drama or not, I understand why some people have dropped it but at the same time I understand why some people haven't dropped it. I'm 5 episodes in and I'll tell you one thing, I do not plan on dropping it, I should drop it(considering some of the story lines that I do not click with, I'll explain in a bit) but I'm still here.
I don't know why I'm still watching it man, I really do not know. First we have the step brothers(my favourite so far but at the same time...um). I don't know about you guys but I'm not a big fan of step sibling relationships, though they aren't blood related it still feels wrong. I really wish their parents never got together, I liked that they hated each other and I truly believe it would have been better to watch if they didn't become step brothers. I mean, also what's up with the dad brining home a wife that his son never met at least once? Chol didn't know that his dad was dating and instead of introducing him to his girlfriend he introduces him to his wife. WIFE! I don't know if yall are as shook as me, WIFE! WIFE! How in the world?! Make it make sense! I think the reason why I like Prab and Chol is because they are "fresh of the market" step siblings, instead of them being step siblings for years and stuff. I mean it's still weird but I'm trying to be more understanding.
I'm not going to talk about the Khun and the baker guy, they are the only unproblematic couple so far.
I am willing to expand my mind but teacher/student relationships are a massive NO for me. I'm sorry but that teacher is not professional at all and deserves to have his teaching degree canceled. Yes the legal age of consent in Thailand is 15 but I'm sure they don't condone these types of relationships in their schools. What's worse is that this teacher is an intern, what the hell is he gonna turn into once he becomes a full time teacher? Really unprofessional.
Where i can watch ep 2 in Viki tthere is just one episode !
I'm hearing that viki has combined ep 1 and episode 2. So instead of two 20 odd minutes episodes you should have watched a 50 odd minute 1st episode. So viki will be having 10 episodes instead of 20, I hope this helped.
So far so good, I'm just struggling to understand the stalker guy though...like how is this going to work out? So far I like the relationship between the three friends and I'm rooting for Li Chen and Mu Ren
Not all women of the 21st century don't dream of relationship as their end goal. We are different, our circumstances…
I chose to not be biased, I did state that whatever decision a woman takes she shouldn't be bashed for it. Her choices were not wrong just because you value love/family more. We just have to respect other peoples decisions even though we wouldn't go for them. I'm therefore not a fan of the word 'wrong' especially in this context.
Wait, why are people mad that the FL chose her career in the end? I mean, from the looks of it it seems like they broke up in the end and the FL is the guilty one. That's besides the point though, we need to start normalizing the fact that women of the 21st century don't dream of a relationship as their end goal. Why chose one when you can have both? And if she doesn't want a relationship and is more focused on her career then that isn't train smash as well and vice versa. Two more episodes left, I can't wait to find out what really happened between them.
I just want to send out an invitation to a party, the time of when the party starts is when you read this and the venue will be all in our heads. I know you're probably wondering why I'm throwing a party, but I just want to celebrate the growth the SML and SFL have shown in these last few episodes, especially the SFL. When I say she almost took me church I mean it(can I get a hallelujah), she looks good now that she has chosen to love herself first before she loves someone else. Honestly now that they are both in a good space, if they decided to get into a healthier relationship with one another I wouldn't be opposed to it. If they decide to remain two people who once knew each other I wouldn't be opposed to it as well. I'm proud of them.
As for the Director, that man remained bitter 'til the very end(lol). There are moments where I really like him and then there are moments where I just wanna throw my cheese burger at him and grab him by the collar. I'm glad that his plans to be an obstacale in the SML life didn't prevail, he is an okay dude but if he isn't careful he will turn into a very power driven man...and not the good kind.
The husband, chef and wife are by far my favourite characters. We got to see the wife go through the 5 stages of grief before finally accepting that she can't allow the man she loves to continue to suffer like this. The husdand is still in denial but I really hope that the support of his soon to be ex wife will help him realize his true identity. Like I said before, I really do see a happy ending for all three of them, whether they are appart or together.
Also, can we clap our hands for the FLs mom? I really didn't like the way she smothered her daughter but I am super proud of how she is working hard to be a better mom. Like the ML said: "I think seniors mom is very cute" and that she is.
This drama made realize that most of these characters needed to be more kind, loving, accepting, and forgiving of themselves. I truly am enjoying it.
I really love the main couple, I'm finding it difficult to understand why some people say it seems a bit forced. For me it is going in the trajectory it should be going in. ML tells FL that she is being cheated on by SML, ML tries to force her to forget SML, FL however doesn't take kindly to it(as she should) and therefore the FL and ML get off on the wrong path, slowly they start to understand each other and their relationship turns into a more healthier one.
As for the second "couple"...boy oh boy does the SFL frustrate me so much! Girl, you are willing to destroy the person you supposedly love for your own selfish gain. That man needs to breathe! He needs some time to let go of the fake person he has worked so hard to build. He is finally realizing that none of his so called family in law really loves him, I mean we all saw what the granddad called him. That man only saw him as puppet, and now that the puppet has gained awareness and wishes to move its own strings he wants to discard it like it never did a single thing for him. I am honestly happy for the SML, I hope his character gets justice. I've never hated a person so much and then quickly had a change of attitude towards them. This guy got rejected by both his real family and family in law, he deserves to find some happiness. I was glad to see him in the last few minutes of the 12th episode, he looked free and in a good space.
Now back to the SFL, I need to take deep breaths because wow. She knows she isn't going to fully happy with the SML yet she keeps holding on to him. It's not even emotional blackmail anymore, it's a new form of obsession and she needs to see a psychologist about it. Get her to rehab I don't know but her obsession to the SML has made her almost psychotic. Out of all the characters she is the one who needs to find herself the most, a person should not have so much power over another person. How they view you should not determine whether you live or die.
As for the Doc, Chef and Wife. I think it's safe to say that we saw it coming. I truly believe the Doc likes the Chef back but he hasn't learned to accept who he truly is(I'm rooting for you!). It's clear that he doesn't want the Chef going out with other people, and yet it's okay for him to keep being with his wife(sounds a bit weird I know). Though this is their situation, I still see a happy ending for all 3 parties. I can't wait to see how everything of thiers will unfold.
I am going to hold of my comments for the Director and the MLs older sister. I just want to see how the Director will handle the wedding dress fiasco, and also...funny how he said the SML never really saw him as a friend yet the same could be said about him.

Too much of a good thing won't be good for long- the great Sam Smith once sang.
