Try watching her in Tree with Deep Roots. I know it's a sageuk but she's suitable in her character there.
OK, thx. I will try.

I feel the same. Everyone admires Kim Tae Ri's acting, unfortunately for me she didn't reach her peak and her hysterical breathing eventually started to irritate me.

I try so hard to see her acting talent, but I can't. I've seen 4 dramas with her and she's still the same. Besides, when I see her, I think (I really don't know why) of a mouse. Her appearance reminds me of a mouse. There is no fire, no desire, no love, not even hatred in her acting, in short, she is so bland, devoid of passion.

I'm so glad to finally find someone who shares the same opinion about this movie. Yep, you just need a lobotomy to watch it. :) :) :)

Haha, :) :) I have the same. Exactly. I am amused and calm at the same time, because the male hero is omnipotent. Well, well, we differ in the assessment of this drama, although we have the same opinion.

I thought that he was married with a Korean actress and that someone else was married with the European one! But…
Yeah. I understood that he was rather laughing at these "important information". Your answer made me laugh too. The sentence: "You know him personally, will this affect his work? Or maybe I'll be raising his kids, and maybe I should care! lol” That's exactly on point.

Haha, well reviewed. On point. I will only add that in terms of blood spit out, the first place for me is Cheng Yi in Love and Redempition. There, the actor spat out so much "blood", hectoliters of "blood" that I thought he had no more lungs. Such a role as for tuberculosis.

I have the same feeling. The acting wasn't very good and splitting an immortal into three pieces in the fiery goofball version left me completely disheartened. I'm at episode 26, but I don't know if I have enough patience to end this torment.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4667136/ "Korea is the first, and perhaps only, country to classify propofol as a controlled substance. In February 2011, the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety classified propofol as a psychotropic drug, making it illegal to prescribe or consume other than for stipulated treatments that may need sedation, such as a gastrointestinal endoscopy [1]. In this month's Korean Journal of Anesthesiology, we learned that Kim et al. [2] provided the reference data for the regulation of propofol in Korea as a controlled substance. The Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety considered the results of their survey."

Review Jang Ok Jung
Haha thank you! I'm all for fictional license to mess around with history, as long as we can all be realistic…

Review Jang Ok Jung
Only now I came across this drama, but earlier I prepared myself from history. Although I don't know Korean, I used translations and even listened to an interview with a history professor who drew completely different portraits of the king and his concubine and also illuminated the political background of events. Unfortunately, nothing remained of the romanticism . The facts are merciless. Politics, the struggle for power exclude sentiment. Besides, I checked the dates of birth of the king and Jang Ok Jung and it turns out that she was 2 years older than the king, which in these centuries and with so many women to choose from was of great importance. The king was a very good politician and, above all, sought to strengthen absolute power, so women were pawns.

100% right. I have the same observations when it comes to fighting for equality. This is just empty talk to show how smart and intelligent the heroine is, but brings nothing to do. I have a feeling that the plot is some kind of gossip forum. Yang Hua drawls words and Qin Shi utters them monotonously. You can fall asleep. Women's creations in a top law firm look rather like a carnival, and strong, evening makeup is not makeup for a serious lawyer from a respected law firm.

Great review for me. I agree 99%, but why such a high rating. For me, it's a 5 at most. But everyone is entitled to their own score.

Oh well. You are right. I generally notice an apologization of infantilism in Chinese dramas. Yes, the offer is generally aimed at teenage audiences, and I understand that it somehow delights them, but it justifies the immature behavior. The delight of teenagers in general, for actors and actresses who are in their 30s and behave and promote themselves as 14-15 years old, this is a general trend in mainly Chinese cinema.

I'm in the process of watching this drama and I have the impression that the main character is a bit dumb . She lacks intelligence. As a child, she was active, clever and go-getter. And what happened next? Unfortunately, the actress is also expressionless. I watch she in the second drama and it is just so bland.
