I'm not much into chinese drama I only watched "Nirvana in Fire" and "Tribes and Empires" and I decided to give…
I thought about dropping it too but I'm SO glad I didn't. Also, I went into this without knowing anything about the story or that it was based on a novel so searching informations about the story and the characters really help and this is about cultivation world so if you are not used to this, it might be hard to fully appreciate when you have no idea of what is going on and you said that you are not that into chinese dramas so maybe you are not used to that kind of story. Maybe you should at least watch more episodes because it is ONLY the beginning. Like, the first 2 episodes are set in the present and episode 3 to episode 33 is about the past, since you only watched 3 episodes, you can't really know if it is for you or not :( I was like you, after wathing the 3 first episodes, I was not that much into it + I had no idea of what was going on but well now I am "obsessed" with it like WOW. (Tbh, I was really hooked after episode 7).
Is this a good series with a good story or is this just something people drool over because of the good looking…
You should know that it is a low budget production and despite that, they did a BEAUTIFUL job because they stayed true to the essence and message of the story. And as for the voice acting, honestly this is the best I have seen/heard so far (and trust me I have a hard time enjoying voice acting but here it worked perfectly).
Watching the beginning over for the 3rd time, trying to get into the story. There are way too many fantastical…
I was like you at the beginning but I became fully invested after because as we get more into the past, we understand much better and the growth of the characters is really worth it. I didn't know that "Mo Dao Zu Shi" existed so I thought this was simply a new drama and that's why I didn't understand ANYTHING at first but I did some reasearches and that helps a lot more if you want to enjoy the story. The best choice I made was to not drop it.
The Untamed has really become my moral support somehow, and so has the cast (especially Xiao Zhan & Wang Yibo like wow I admire them so much) seriously. I know that's weird lmao
Wow anybody seen this??? :o Wang YiBo & Xiao Zhan nominated as WangXian for best couple award??? https://twitter.com/sunhiyou/status/1196376417312763906
One thing that makes me happy at least : Wang Yibo saying that they will all meet in private anyway. They are all friends and they have a strong bond and unforgettable memories together that's for sure.
Well.. I am a crying mess :))))) I hope you guys will stay here for a long time because I'll probably need some support for the rest of my life after that.
