Here you go @Amimisubaobun There is also a guy that is very interesting but I need to find him first as either he hasn’t his picture or I didn’t hit the follow button. Let you know when I find him as he is very good to he has lot of anecdotes and historical facts

I see what you mean. I follow on Instagram a Chinese woman who regularly shares knowledge on ancient China with clips of dramas, they look better more focused on historical events …I am not impressed by fantasy and wuxia.

I know it was a huge phenomenon. As this one is still available on Netflix in mandarin with English subtitles i just want some new users to have another point of view than the general consensus. Seriously one of worst thing I have seen and I usually go to end. This was recommended to me as I was venturing in Cdramas. But after trying maybe 10-15 they are rarely for me.
The first episode is on SBS YouTube page with English subtitles. I lost interest quite fast. Too much air time for me, for the mean older cast. I don’t like those mean, nosy, overbearing stepmothers. Those grandpas that still think we are in 1920. You really have to be motivated to engage with one of those young men. I would definitely say you ain’t worth the pain your mother, family would inflict to me, bye 😘 It has some funny, somehow cute moments but the fart humor isn’t my jam. The connections between the younger weren’t deep enough either. Very average rapid watch for a rainy Sunday. It’s Interesting to remind to people that complains that KDramas are now too short, when the 12-episode exits for a long time. At least 2003 in my memories
I agree with you. It's kind of repulsive to see all that drinking. It takes away some of the humor and fun out…
Here alcohol and smoking is nearly forbidden on TV since 1986 do I think it’s way it hugely cut my attention. All east-Asians countries are concerned only the populations that are muslin drink less
The red face that we see when they drink, it’s real too 75% of East Asians sufferer from Asian flush
I agree with you. It's kind of repulsive to see all that drinking. It takes away some of the humor and fun out…
Yes unfortunately. I have to check if it’s like in Japan with even people that show up drunk in the morning at work…apparently it isn’t a reason to be fired The night out with teammates is also very accurate and you cannot refuse a drink from someone above. My teacher said also that during job interviews they ask you too if you are a good drinker. The right answer isn’t no 🤣
all these korean-japanese dating drama that have come out lately are mediocre at best every time, they are just…
I believe it’s just business. Giant media companies operate both in Korea and Japan try to hype Jdrama by integrating Korean actors. There are similar initiatives with Thailand and even China.
is this normal for Netflix? i could swear this had 9 eps until last night, and it was showing that the "last…
Netflix does that sometimes when they air episode by episode they update the number of episodes once they are released but this has always been announced everywhere else as a 10-episode drama which I believe is the most current format with 8 for Jdramas
I have been spoiled by the channel on Instagram. Do you want to know?
I saw a family tree of all characters. The actress is his mom, so he comes from a rich family We gonna see his father too at some point and male lead’s mother also
I seriously hate that intern. She is such a nuisance. Bitch spoils everything. She could’ve accepted that beverages.…
Being the youngest, the bottom of the hierarchy and a woman is tricky position where you cannot vexed annoying in one hand, and in the other as he has declared to her accepting even drinks would make him entitled to expect more from her. She is in an impossible position.

I feel like you. The question sincerely creeped me out and felt predatory but I asked a Korean apparently it’s a question that is asked. More you can drink prouder you can be. I am also bothered by the number of times we can people fully drunk on the streets and my Korean teacher confirmed also that depiction is fully accurate. She had a cultural chocked as American Korean coming back to live in Korea. I know back in time, like during Joseon that several arts had to mastered to be somehow educated: calligraphy was one, strategy games like baduk, enjoying alcohol was also one …can remember the others. But yeah it’s deeply rooted in the culture. Beer and soju brands are also big sponsors of KDramas (Positively yours, brewing beer and love…)
Exactly! They all seem pathetic. I'm dropping this. Just not worth my time.
I understand you. I don’t know why they made trailers with promises that don’t fit to the actual story. I usually finish thing I have started even if it takes me months…FMO girl 😂
It’s online on several websites with English subtitles…but it’s really really bad
Where I am when a typ on google search name of show episode number and language I have most of the time everything YouTube- Daylimotion, bilibili. Viu does operate in my region. The story is very flawed and doesn’t make really sense. Characters are under-developed, the acting is mediocre …. I cannot fine anything positive frankly. Even if you want a light romance, the romance is shallow and very bland… You can find way better. I like my Holo love, perfect stranger (is on viu), Devilish joy…
A Chinese friend who has seen the show said before he made the comments people on set were laughing and calling…
Some Chinese influencers said it was wrong and his apologies phrase like weren’t enough but unfortunately not enough voices to change the minds right away. It’s sad.
Actually for people who don't grow up in Chinese culture, it's very difficult to understand the racism behind…
A Chinese friend who has seen the show said before he made the comments people on set were laughing and calling the portrait ugly…it’s the sequence of the actions that makes it bad. All of these are so regrettable as many of us Asians and non Asians wish access to Asian culture & content help to create bonds and eradicate any form or racism and discrimination .
