Someone might have updated the title this October as Netflix renewed the rights for that drama. But the title isnāt an invention, itās the title on Netflix, on google, on IMDb, Wikipediaā¦title here has just been aligned to the most used one.
The whole drama ruined coz she ended up with the wrong dude for stupid reasons. So she picked the asshole dude…
He didnāt bully her during 3 years, he was living abroad (Thailand) nearly the whole time. Perfect on paper rarely becomes perfect in real life. I think also for us westerners we can miss some important background knowledge about Korean culture. Korea is still a culture where men have to initiate the relationship, if you havenāt noticed nearly each time women make the first move they are rejected (maybe one exemption to the rule when the woman is older but again the why is also connected to Korean culture of respect of the elders š¤£)
I don't know why it has been changed on MDL, but Don't Dare to Dream doesn't make any sense as a title for this…
No. ģ§ķ¬ģ ķģ means the jealousy incarnate. There is a little strange phenomenon on Viki we have simple translation of the Korean tittle, on Netflix or Prime regularly a reinvented title to make it more comprehensible, accessible to an audience that isnāt Koreanā¦but sometimes that title has no sense. When a content is available on 2 different platforms it lives regularly with 2 different names (Rain or Shine/Between lovers) I do not if the translation is decided by the Korean production that sell the content or the platform which aires it but MDL has nothing to do with that.
Just started (episode 3) I am already pissed off. The old dude has š¤¢fake teeth on the top and yellow ones on back and bottom. I already hoping that beautiful actress doesnāt have to kiss him. Please dude keeps your mouth shut! But everybody else is pretty. By the way who believes that a 32 girl boss who is beautiful cannot pull any guysā¦sorry most women can pull any guy married or not, anytime! So I have a hard time to believe that beautiful woman doesnāt have a pool of men to choose from. The editing is very bad already too much flashback about that unique evening, scenes arenāt well connected to each other. I also donāt understand those opening credits with the full series spoiledā¦not the first Cdrama where I notice that but elsewhere who does that??!! In case you want to drop you have already seen everything in the opening credits 𤣠not FOMO here!
At that stage I am just watching because the photography is impeccable, sets are clean and fashion is nice⦠and that young dude: Song Wei Long, might be the most beautiful Chinese man I have ever seen š¤£š
i don't get how this is so highly rated. i think this would have been better if they had left out the murder plot…
I feel like she didnāt tell the ex about the kid was a mix of pride and a cry for freedom. We have to know the fact that in Korea, kids go automatically on the man linage and women can end up no being able to decide anything for the kid and themselves. Some family can even decide to take away the kid. Mother rights arenāt the best in East-Asia.
1. Why is the rating low? 2. Is this good for someone who only cares about romance?
I donāt think this kind of drama can be easy understood by everyone. I feel like until everything is unwrapped it gonna left us puzzled. Itās slow journey. Itās about healing. I am at episode 5 and I do like it. It depends what kind of romance you like, if it the manwha bubbly kind: no. If you are into yearning, slow-burning: yes
This already piss me off. So I am gonna make like on Viki this drama is for now on: While waiting for Gyeon-do! I have watched so far 4 episodes. Itās more my vibe than Dynamite kiss, Nice to not meet you and Our Golden days that I am simultaneously watching this December.
I never understood why she didnāt give him her blood. As a supposed nurse she should know better. Seriously I give mine to strangers. It would have cost her nothing what a selfish b*** 𤣠She was also very passive throughout the full thing that piss me up
I am in Paris. Where are you in China?
