Coming late to this drama and I’m glad I did; Li Xian is burning up my screen! 🔥😍. If only the story was all about him and his team…the FL adds nothing but embarrassment.

Ning Yi is unique and more multifaceted than even Mei Chansu from NiF. The ML for JoL is much younger, not as complex a character.

I totally agree with the Dramacool user’s comments. Be sassy and bold, but be intelligent and aware too. Rude, entitled and callous behavior makes her seem crass and not a good match for the far more mature ML.

You might enjoy New Life Begins. It has similar themes to TRoTR, great leads and a lot of heart.

But if she hadn’t made mistakes she would have been a monster…and we would have no drama lol.

It’s grim and serious in a melodramatic way… very soap operatic but a fun watch.

They are among my top couples of all time. It’s regrettable that the weaker sismance was given more prominence in the last quarter.

I enjoyed Fairy and Devil but I love ADOS even more. Excellent chemistry, beautiful love story, exquisite cinematography and OST. I enjoyed LLTG but not as much.

This drama deserves a higher rating. There are a range of interesting female characters, character development of the ML and FL, a charismatic 2nd ML and stunning fight scenes. If you’re curious, go ahead, you may love this drama, I certainly did. Critics are not oracles; the most reliable feedback comes from people who actually watched the drama.

Well said…it took me till ep 7 to realize it’s a farce, though probably not intentionally. Over-written, with melodramatic plot twists instead of plot development and tortuous over-acting by the older sisters NJH and KGE. How ironic is it that the sisters’ inadequacies make the MLs much more appealing? The cinematography is the best thing about this drama.

Yes, yes, yes! These three sisters are so badly written it’s hard to feel anything for them. Does In Ju have to be so annoyingly stupid for the plot to advance? And isn’t In Kyung supposed to be an empath? So how can she have so little understanding of her younger sister’s feelings and motivations? In Hye is a brat, but I’d also want to get away from those two older sisters if I were in her place.
