I've decided to give Princes Agent a try then watching the sequel. Heard too many complaints that you struggle to follow along to the story.

I just found a Lin Muran edit in tiktok with him being in this drama and I almost screamed because he was my favourite villain of POJ.

I was so excited to watch this especially with Li Yun Rui being there but I heard it continues the story from season 1? I thought it was going to be more of standalone with a different direction or within the same universe but I heard there are spoilers what happened in the prequel to remind you where the story left off? I thought of giving the prequel a try but the worst thing to do is watch a prequel and get attached to the first cast just to immediately jump into a new cast. It won't feel the same and I might start comparison against my will. I'm stuck trying to make a decision.

I've watched so many dramas and I believe he simply can't abidcate his throne. If he does, they need to kill him because he have royal bloodline and is considered a legitimate heir. Not sure if that's just dramatised for drama or if there is some truth to it

The military arc had a lot of highs but also lows. It doesn't help that a lot of the editing felt very choppy and cuts into a different scene quickly while they are trying to squeeze as many important details as possible.

I don't want to be called a hater since I was looking forward to this drama since last year and immediately started it the moment it dropped, watching daily even though I wasn't commenting. Calling any different opinion as hate is very common with popular dramas so I know how things operate here. And it gets harder to comment because many people also have similar issues so negative feedbacks are coming more now that most of the story is finished and people are getting the full view of the drama.

Currently on ep 33 (I'm not watching leaked version so I'm going slow)

I really enjoyed this drama. So many nice dymnatics and I like a lot of characters and it started off so well but at the current point, it's been disappointing in a way. I want to share some of my thoughts but I decided against it because one thing about extremely, trendy, popular dramas is that they have worshippers. Any criticism is always seen as hate and just "stupid people who don't understand anything and want to ruin the vibe for everyone else" so I'm not going to bother.

Overall, it had the potential to be one of my favourites and I absolutely adore Changyu.

Not sure if people would have had second lead syndrome but I'm sure he would have been likeable. Second lead syndrome usually happens when the second lead is just much better than the male lead not someone who have fewer scenes.

I'm wondering if I should blame my disappointment in kdramas on myself or the writers because when I started this show, I had this expectation that it will tackle family dynamics, unexpected first time parenting, hardships of raising a kid when you didn't settle yet, trying to balance life and work, what it means for a child to lose his parents, the unexpected roommate relationship while slowly falling in love, female lead struggles to maintain herself because she didn't foreseen herself as a guardian, the male lead coming in terms with his past (which they did cover her) but like I expected more baby/parenting dynamic. Yet I just ended up with a boring love triangle.

The ending has me screaming, not in a good way. I expected to see Taehyung but instead I see what's his name. My sister was yelling in the background, talking about, "When we say we have second lead syndrome, we don't mean this guy. Why are you doing this in shows that we didn't ask for??? Shows like True Beauty, where the second lead is loveable, is where I want to see this!"

Honestly, is it possible to get main lead syndrome in a show about the main lead????

I feel like too many dramas rely on the murder trope and not in a good way where it's an exciting reveal. I feel like it's lazy because Sarah knew she was impresonate her. Like she WANTED her too especially with the two dresses، letting her be in the fitting room, wanting her to get medical treatment under her name, etc so the fact the end result is that she didn't realise how "delusional" she was, is just disappointing. If only she was using her to basically a con like how she did with the other people, I feel like it would be a great ending. Like you said, someone else is the killer so the detective gets what he wants but not the results that he would be happy with while she gets away with it, again.

She chose jail than to ruin her brand name. I would love to see her continuing con. That's the whole point I'm rooting for her. I don't want her in jail, I want to be entertained.

This is my favourite part of the whole story because is it a con if there was no victims? And it dives into the psychology of what it means to actually con especially when she pointed out that all these other brands probably use cheap labor too and selling it for high price because of brand value. She just did something similar by creating a rumors. So the business itself is legit, the method wasn't.

Which drama were the main lead avoided jail? I want to watch those. Not enough of them are outsmarting the system enough.

One of the reason why I don't find the ending as satisfying is that she killed the girl. With shows like these where the lead is smart, I wish the writers would make them smart enough to avoid killing and actually trying to find another way to win. Since she is a con artist, I wanted her to win by conning till the end. I feel like it's lazy writing when the writers chose to result in murder to "end the show".

While the ending was a little bit unsatisfying (thank god it wasn't a disappointment like all the dramas that came out last year), I love how she truly DID give almost everyone what they wanted in a way. From the NOX CEO, to the chairwoman, to the husband, the detective, etc. She knows how to read people.

And I can't believe I'm saying this but I love evil women. I really wanted her to win at the end and even though she technically won, it was not enough. I needed her away from jail. Ironically, I feel like this is who everyone thought the female lead in Dear X was. They thought she is doing manipulation the way Sarah Kim did but the reality was, she didn't.

I love the visuals, I love the personality of both the leads, I love how both of them interact with each other, I just love love love how refreshing it feels to just see them on screen.

I don't stan Churan but I believe this year is her year! I've been looking forward to her dramas since last year.

Idk should I give this another try? I've been seeing people say it's good but I genuinely had to pause from the cringe after like the first 10 minutes. Does it get better?

She is the most hated character in the manhwa community so I'm hoping people wouldn't be illogical as to insult the actress.

I'm super excited to see this one because we haven't gotten the Europeon setting for these shows. It's always take place in Joseon which genuinely changes the whole story for some reason with these adaptations so I'm HAPPY to see this style.

My only disappointment is that Remarried Empress gets the adaptation. I'm not going to spoil it for those who haven't read it but I hope Actress Seyoung doesn't get the hate directed to her for playing this character. This characters have literally changed the trajectory of manhwa history and created a extremely popular and VIRAL HATE. She recoined the insult of trash + name that is everywhere in the manhwa community.

Oh my god, Mr. Pei... He is such a sore loser yet somehow is able to be charismatic despite taking loss after loss after loss. He is always so snarky, got a strong comeback as if he is superior winner but the reality is, he plays underhanded and still loses. Like you are relying on money and connection to win because Xiao Yi is better than you in every step of the way. Yet... Yet... There is an unexplained charisma in the actor who plays him. I enjoy seeing him be utterly pathetic because he always counter it and loses AGAIN just to try again. Somehow he works hard yet not lmaoooo a weird combination.
