with both this and Taxi Driver S3 gone this week and my kdrama depression hitting hard, can anyone here recommend…
Watch cdramas. I've seen a decent amount of episodes of Glory, the one currently airing and I heard Love Between the Lines might be a good one too (I'll give it a try too.)
The ending was perfect! But its a shame that the pro bono team doubted Dawit till the very end (in the last episodes…
The whole "I was suspicious of you" like stop, how can one line be so annoying? Probably because she kept it up till the end. It's more shocking that he saved her family 15 years ago yet she still doubts him after he proved himself over and over again. Like enough.
It's clear that Shanbao doesn't have the tea bone but her little sister does, she just switched the plates to have butterflies because she knows it's related to her trauma. The sisters though as nasty bitches. They don't even like the younger sister and probably knows she can't manage the family because she have a mental disability. She swore on heaven, saying she gets no personal gain... The lies, she gets to see Shanbao fall of grace AND get to manipulate her other sisters more to put herself in a favourable position.
I like the fact that all of the sisters are tearing these suitors up! Like they foreshadowed how the other side of the sisters will start scheming against Shanbao and how a bloodbath between them will begin, but at this moment, they all ganged up on these useless, loser men. Each sister had to say a line about how incompetent these men were.
They way Dawit is leading them on to making the case bigger and bigger so media outlets can report it. Even though the pro bono team is about to make the biggest mistake in history, I enjoyed watching them using Dawit tricks against him. However, you can't undo the master of tricks, they can only copy him.
The thing about Dawit is he knows a lot of loopholes of the law because he used to be a judge himself so we talking about 20 decades in law above everyone else. I've never doubted him. I'm pretty sure he judged that case fairly. Also the victim was a minor, I think that alone justify the 7 years he gave that guy. And that fact this is not the first time but his second offense... that alone should stack up since he didn't learn his lesson! And from the looks of it, he is abusing his employees so that's probably why he kept repeating that question 3 times to that manager. He sniffed that abused off him. They need to summon him as a witness. Now that mf is dead, he doesn't have to fear the repercussions and CAN FINALLY tell that truth.
I knew it would eventually lead to tricking his own team. For the longest time, this team were known for their losses. I always found it ironic that they were put off by his mentality of winning. Because if you actually cared about the victims, you would do everything to win. That's the drive that differentiate Dawit and the Pro Bono team. Now they better put their words in their mouth and do research otherwise, this would be embarrassing for them.
Hold on a damn minute... I knew he was pushing her buttons on purpose but all this time, he thought she was low-key behind his accident and still fell in love with her?? That's crazy. Now that truth is out, he is more upset he bullied her? I hope that both of them staying away from each other doesn't get prolonged for too long.
She was upset because he had enough time to call his mom but thought he didn't bother to write a simple text message…
In the context of my original post, you can't be mad that someone didn't call you immediately during an emergency when your phone died and you have no context on what was going on.
I agree with you on that 😂When the phone is off or out of battery even in 2013 there is no log of missed calls…
I wasn't big on phone calls during that era so I was trying to understand why it doesn't show the fact he did try to communicate with her and assumed it have to be tied with the year they are in. Phone truly advanced now.
You know what? It makes sense that the writer wants to tie in the difference between Zhung Xu and Xigua. These two drifted apart because they relied on third party people to give them messages which are never a reliable source. Lin, on the other hand, really is the better male lead in every way.
Is she being serious? Maybe I think differently but during emergency, I'm okay if people didn't call me immediately to support them. When my grandma leg broke from cancer, I was diffusing the situation by asking the family members present to CALM DOWN and called the ambulance. Once I reached the hospital and she was in the doctors hand and I get a chance to actually sit down, that's when the calls started. I'll just assume different people handle different things but this is the one time, I feel like it should be forgiven if someone doesn't call you within few hours.
But either way, I kinda hate this plot point because he did call her twice so it feels less justified but the writer wanted to create a dramatic plot line and had her phone dead during the time he called. Back in the 2011-2014, is there no phone record if someone called you when your phone dead? I don't recall but I'm like annoyed either way.
LMAO!!!! And supposedly he’s never had any girlfriends before . How u got game lmaooooo 🤨
He never had any girlfriend before but then hit us with, that he knows when he met his future wife, it was on 15th January... My jaw was on the floor. Game so strong, I wanted to put him on the operation room for research. It shouldn't take long to fall in love with this guy
What Xigua sees in the SML? She sees handsomeness and intelligence. She probably had a love at first sight situation…
The crazy miscommunication is killing me because he thought she would wait for him? Damn. I'm actually speechless by what you just said.
Yea, we always glad with SL pushing the FL to the right man. If course, no offence to the actor. His writing alone already told me the actor got nothing to work with. It felt like the script was just saying don't show any emotions to let the FL misunderstanding and the actor just got this NPC kinda of character to play.
What am I witnessing?? What just happened? Why is the male lead suddenly the smoothest guy to grace the earth?? Dafuq? He was so smooth with his liners, I could literally skate on it. He was so rigid, cold and emotionless before that am a little surprised with this change? He was landing himself date after date after date LMAO is this the same guy in the hospital who needs his dr. coworker to wingman him???
When he told his friend at the wedding that she reacted too fast, he WANTED her to wonder what his intentions are and overthink it?? He got crazy game. Flirting so well, I had to re-evaluate my assessment of him. He saw those eyes well up with future tears and he decided to lock in... Okay, I see you there Lin Yusen. You jumped up to 8/10.

You made me laugh. It sounded like you were explaining then went in to roast him. My problem is his personality is very constipated. He was asking her why she was wearing heels? She just wants to look pretty.... And I was like facepalming. He says his words in a way that seems very accusatory. I know he meant that she should wear comfortable shoes, blah blah blah but he just doesn't put effort into making anything he says seems clear. When his mom was telling him to get married to his childhood friend, there was just silence like.... Say something?????? Something like I don't want to get married yet? I'm still figuring out what I want to do?
The way he behaves just makes me sigh. When she said he looked best in white... He said NOTHING OMFG. When she waved at him, he didn't even wave back... you can't tell me later he will claim he actually liked her and stuff because his actions doesn't give her the benefit, he just creating misunderstandings.
Not sure what Xigua sees in the second lead. I've been paying attention to their interactions and they genuinely haven't had a decent interaction throughout the 3 episodes except when he offered some material for her to learn for her thesis but this kinda of interaction is supposed to lead somewhere but it didn't. There is no proper apology, there is no honesty, there is barely any even heart to heart conversation casually between them. I don't know what happened but did we grow out of the second lead phrase, were we immature to see their appeal or have they gotten significantly worse in terms of writing? There is no charisma, no natural charm, nothing. It's soooo bland, I want to start skipping scenes but I'm not going to because I want to understand the foundation of the story and how all of this ties to her story later.
