I want to see this drama but Song Kang ever since Love Alarm... Gave me the ick 😭 I feel like it's not his fault but I can't stand seeing him in any romance drama ever since that. Sweet Home is his redeeming quality... I hope this drama change something. The plot sounds like something I'll like... Please change something for me.

Ep. 2 the gaslighting in this show is CRAZY! They truly MASTERED it. If any third party, was listening to them talk... They would be CONVINCED. I know I would. I would be against the FL. The sister perfectly placed herself as a victim. All the circumstances are in her favour. Thank god the male lead wasn't buying any of that.

Ep 1. LMAO the way that truck of doom came in....I can't. Like she already was in an accident but they went, nah, that's not enough, bring the truck in. I can't take that scene seriously 😭

Female superheroes are definitely rare and this show really wasted the characters by focusing on too much of the other nonsense. The FL is supposedly the strongest out of women yet she doesn't show much of it outside of the few episodes. It's so obvious the writer had an idea but that was it. Just an idea.

The show is ending in 3 days. Let us have our fun before it ends 😂

I love how you brought out Vincenzo because he also is in an Italian mafia as their consigliere and the very first episode shows you him killing people. You already brought good points about how he turned more of a vigilantes which makes it easier to root for him and how the show's writing is so MUCH BETTER than this. But it's very ironic to see that people were okay with that as long as the character was a male lead. Nobody there judged you for rooting for him despite his past.

I haven't been impressed by any of the dramas that been released this year with the exception of Till the End of the Moon. This was a really emotional rollar coaster, it is a top contender for the drama of the year for me. The only flaw of this drama is the ending. The conclusion was half baked. I can tell they were in a hurry to wrap it up and just homaged it. They also used a trope that I believed this show didn't need it. Despite that, I have to say Goong Min never misses with his dramas. Gil Chae remains best female character. Actually, the girls in this show were the best including Gag Hwa. They played their strengths and weakness pretty well. I enjoyed the politces. It was done so well and balanced with the romance. Just when you think the show slows down, it quickly picks up again. I'm always happy when I see a historical drama that is DONE WELL because some of them are a bit of joke.

She achieved what she wanted and she used all the crafty methods. She sure made her son king.

He was acting out because he knew she was getting to him 😋 probably was developing crush so he behaved like a teenage boy.

On a serious note... the crown prince... the moment I saw him put that letter under his pillow, I FELT it. I felt he was going to die. One of the rare good people are gone now. Who is going to bring back the captives from Qing? Jang Hyun? Jang Hyun got so much work cut out of him. With that weak minded, insecure, jealous king who only thinks of HIMSELF even during the DEATH of his own son... I feel for the crown princess. But at least her husband trusted her so much in the fact he knew she will deliver it to him. Their love for each other was pure. It's a shame to see her die, being doubted by everyone. The king's wife truly a master to take advantage of her weak husband.

Ep 9. The way Jang Hyun was treating Gil Chae lol like she was harassing or something. Almost made me laugh.

I seen it here and I seen it on tiktok. I don't think people here read novels otherwise, they would have known the enemies to lovers is such a popular trope if done right lol I feel like they don't watch anything except kdramas.Me and you are just talking too much in here 🤣 if you want to take it to message

The female villain in Taxi Driver. She was my babe 🤣 most kdrama don't write them good. They always make them bitchy and give them no redeeming quailties. In order for the SFL to win, the writers need to be on top of their game. I wanna see enemies to lovers

I would come to your defensive because I'm deadass tired of MDL and their inability to have a discussion without insults. However, I haven't finished the drama and trying to avoid spoilers so I'm refraining myself from reading comments as much as possible. I just skimmed across yours because you said you like the SFL but I tried not to fully read the comments. If this villain was a female... I would say people would still support it since K2 SFL was more favored despite being the bad woman. However, there won't be as much support or hype as a male character. Like I said before, people glorify male character waaaay more. I agree with most of what you said. With that being said, I'll continue to support him. I am not going to refrain myself from liking a character just because most of the people here are hypocritical and misogynistic bunch. I know I love my female characters considering I have a blog trashing on all fandoms for how they treat women in fictional setting. But that's a discussiom not for here.

I am with you on that stance. Female characters always get the short end of the sticks in all sort of media while male characters are glorified like crazy for doing the bare minimum. The male lead here doesn't mistreatment the girl so when I said he a green flag and healthy, I meant it. So you are very likely to love them. The SML isn't even in the competition. He is a villain from start to end but because the writing of this drama is so poor... he is the only one making it interesting. It's usually rare for fans to be divided but you know? It's already rare enough, just enjoy it because you won't see people root for a villain again for a long while so take it with a grain of salt. A lot of us know he will be in jail or dead but we will still enjoy it. You are free to join the hate against him just don't treat some of us who like him as if we should be in the mental asylum because there is enough of these comments here in the past few weeks as it is.
