Emotional attachment to the memories of my youthful days spend inside watching Marmalade Boy made me rank this half a star more, but I really liked this version and wouldn't mind watching it again some months/years from now.
There's just no way! Angelababy with her continuous streak of lead roles as 2nd lead? Unless this is a movie and not a drama about friendship, the chances of her and Zheng Shuang appearing on screen together won't be happening any time soon. Right?
I don't believe this is a spoiler, but I seriously felt Gintama's pain during Gengai's joke.. I was ready for copyright infringement & it would have been worth it! T-T
I'm 5 minutes & 1 second into episode 1 and I have to ask.. (Since there was zero indication), when/how the hell did she find time to apply 3 layers of make-up?? It doesn't make any sense! I'll just pretend she did it on the go (,though that's most unlikely).
Just finished watching the movie after seeing the drama version a couple of days ago and it made me appreciate the storyline/plot even more! I recommend this order if you prefer to get to know the characters first.
Just finished a different (amazing) drama featuring Yang Yang and to find out he's playing Ye Xiu in King's Avatar adds more icing to the cake!! I've never been a fan of long dramas, but his acting has me convinced they're worth a shot!
This was... painful. I love BL and all kinds of cheesy romance, but.. If you put their struggles with love and self acceptance aside, then this is the true meaning of 'the moment you died, you were dead to me'. Again, putting the romance aside.
