Just finished it, I think it's quite interesting that the main character mentions Bao Si's story with a modern interpretation and then laughingly says she's no Bao Si (because of she's not as beautiful).
In my humble opinion, this was purely a revenge plot , I found it hard to see any romance (maybe the few scenes of her with ZiMu). What's interesting is that at some point the revenge that she started for ZiMu became her way of avenging herself . I assume that the director and screenwriter were trying to frame this as romance from the point of view of Xiao Zhi but all I was convinced of was that he while he was fond of her( contextually she's an 'It Girl', who wouldn't ne fond of her) it was more of a 'I want you because you're the only that doesn't want me''. In all of his mourning he didn't even mention love just possession.
A case study of dysfunctional personalities in dysfunctional relationships. The opening statements by our leads set the tone for the entire series. It was a brave attempt for a different story plot among the world of mini dramas but romantic this was not.
Just passing by to say how much I love Rihito's haircut. His stylist did an amazing job. The shape is impeccable and comes alive every time Maki-chan got ticked off at someone or embarrassed by Aoki's gentleness towards him.

May your pillow always be cool on both sides, your bed comfortable and your coffee/ tea the right temperature, always. I watched the first 6 episodes on YT in '07 and have spent almost 20 years looking for the remaining episodes . Thank you so much!!! \(^.^)/
First 10 mins in and this is a doozy, they have a pilot helping the customers to check in, something about pilots getting closer to the customers. umm, don't pilots spend the time before a flight reviewing the flight plan and double checking everything related to said flight plan? Like how Dropped.
Due to the psychological context , the graphic scenes are amplified and far more disturbing than on their own. A pretty decent adaptation of the manga .
The writing is so good! The raw moments of humanity, the creepy and monstrous cases, it was all amazing. I cried…
Yes to all of this! I first saw Rihito in Colorful Love and his character here is a complete opposite. definitely looking forward to his future projects.
