His secretary is reporting to old chairman not Mundo 😒
yeah I'm not disputing that he reports to the chairman, just saying that he's probably also reporting to MunDo as well. But it's just a theory after all
The clue is in the camera direction and random scenes. So MunDo recently has been conversing with someone via a messenger app in which the person only sends photos and he, MunDo never responds and they only show these scenes after something happens to SeGye. The most obvious one was Son Jae Han catching the two of them in a compromising position in the hospital room. After which MunDo is seen liking a message from an 'SJ' of a ball in a gloved hand ; secret code for got 'em . Recall that MunDo plans to use SeoRi as a snare for SeGye. Plus, his ambiguous " should I report this too?" which some might believe refers to his grandfather but based on the previous episodes we see that SJH feigns ignorance most of the time. His psychiatrist friend has has the same initials but he knows too little to be SJ. See ep 5 , 16:46 - 16:55 , ep 6 , 17: 54 - 18:12.
Ep. 6: Dang, I'm completely and utterly disappointed and saddened that Son Jae Han is working for MunDo. I 've been happy that the writers gave at least one real 'friend'/companion to SeGye and now even he is ends up being fake gold. Poor SeGye he's going to be devastated when it all comes to light. Looking back, SeGye's past self from Joseon was mostly dead/ killed off by the time Dan Shim is offered her send off in episode 1.
im actually really scared since they have technically confirmed their feelings WAY to early😭 makes me think…
I think that by episode 8/9 they'll be in a solid relationship and then the remaining episodes will deal with uncovering the complete story of the past/ untying the knot of enmity between SeGye, MunDo and Dan Shim's past selves along with the uncertainty SeGye and DanShim will face with her possibly returning to her original time period.
Clearly, the mom failed as a parent.Asian parents are supposed to be strict, tiger-moms and tiger-dads. Isn't…
I don't know if being strict tiger parents was ever a reliable parenting method, Asian countries are just as much plagued by crime as anywhere else .
One of the biggest issues here is that this behavior towards celebrity or idols as they are called is both directly and indirectly encouraged and promoted by pop culture which many teens follow as their life coach. It's portrayed as being cute and funny sometimes even romantic puppy love in manhuas, donghuas , movies , dramas and even shorts. Actors routinely referring to their fans' love for them as their motivation ,possessive fan talk culture with "my boyfriend/husband" , "my goddess" and "our [fill in the blank]" and those meet and greets with special fan service don't exactly dissuade fans especially the sasaeng ones from wanting further intimacy.
the mom said she cant control the behaviors of her child. maybe one of the reasons why i chose not to have one,…
You don't control the behavior of a child, you're supposed to teach them as kids to control themselves before they hit adolescence so they can make good choices for themselves . This is why we some adults that commit crimes/ bordering illegal acts and end up saying that 'they can't help it that they ...". The help this child needs sadly won't be found at home. *sigh*
Why don't they release all the episodes at the same time? This is the only series I'll be watching in May 😭😭😭😭
Business; they need to pay returns to their investors, pay themselves and the actors for their hard work. It's airing directly on a private cable channel so they air episodes weekly, only some VOD sites like Netflix release all episodes at once since members are already paying subscriptions. You could wait and binge watch once it's finished airing. If you're interested in the topic of sea-diving you and like cdramas you could check out Pearl Girl which has sea-diving but for pearl and romance.
Looks like we've got to write a thesis to explain why 35 is not middle age....some people...
right? life expectancy in SK, is like 81 for males so maybe if he was 40 it would be plausible but 35? Hey, but consider that females are considered old and middle aged once they hit 30 even though they live up to 84 years on average so...
This drama was way ahead of its time . Man, all the hate it received back then and poor Lee Jia too. This was the first kdrama to have a serious tone in regards to mental health issues. This walked so It's Okay , That's Love and It's Okay to Not be Okay could run.
The thing is that Eito is already dead in the pre-timeslip timeline.
OG Eito wasn't dumb though, he graduated from a good university and had a job at a what would have been a fortune 500 company which he gave up when his mom died and returned home to take care of his dad who was sick with cancer and his sister who was still in high school at that point. That's my point abt his confidence exactly he doen't make sense unless he lived through those events and is relying on a general memory of then. As for Kosei, all we're seeing is a different side of the same coin- he's nice to those who're nice to him and moves earth to get what he wants. I still feel pulled more towards the body swap w/ OG Eito especially that they're reaching with this new point of them possibly being half-brothers but who knows? This is a jdrama after all hehhe
I'm so happy that he's finally getting more opportunities. Watching him back in the early 2010s always as support roles, I was afraid he would end up becoming a daily drama actor (nothing wrong with ilil geuk genre but I can't keep up with the 100+ eps that run close to 60 mins long). Now he's getting main roles and his dramas are doing well. Hopefully he keeps on thriving and scores even bigger projects .
The thing is that Eito is already dead in the pre-timeslip timeline.
Just to further clarify , although it is presented to us that he was supposedly dead in that timeline it might be that he was estranged from his family hence Eiji not wanting to sell the shopping street. Also, if it is a body swap which it seems to be since the present Kosei's behavior indicates that he may also know of future events ( he agreed to the mini fans/cooling jackets products and he banking on the 2016 US presidential election results all the while boldly claims that it's not a gamble), conveys that the present Kosei is actually Eito. And, in ep 4 he told Tomono that he recently spent time reading his childhood diaries( 2026 Kosei as characterized is not a sentimental person and doesn't waste time on anything that doesn't benefit him financially, so why would he be reading his old diaries?) Besides the body swap seems even more likely since it's been hinted that they are possibly half-brothers.
