"I think for them." What a revealing statement. I hope you are kidding or this was a typo. If not it reveals just a touch of arrogant hubris my fellow poster. Please know, that folks like me are fully capable of thinking for ourselves. I wonder how long we can keep this dialogue going? Your turn.

"I sincerely hope you have a great day and God bless you!" I guess you think that represents a real depth of anger. And I guess I was really angry when I thanked you for teaching me a bit more about generic Korean. And just so you know, irreligious people don't offend me at all. In fact I pray for them. Now at the risk of sounding angry again, thank you for reading my post and caring enough to respond to it. I am glad I touched a nerve. MarkWasHere, I hope where ever that you will "be well."

Believe it or not in 2025 there are still people of faith, Jewish, Christian and Muslim who are offended by this. But frankly you made my point. Thank you. Generic Korean doesn't equate with English so the dubber has to choose. All I can say is that the people who do the subtitles don't choose to use profanity that would offend religious sensibilities.
But concerning your post, why are you so angry? Do religious people offend you? The truth is that your post didn't offend me. Thank you for teaching me a bit more about generic Korean. I sincerely hope you have a great day and God bless you!
Don't get me wrong. I really liked this drama. My issue is with the English dubbing from Netflix. The dubbing is far more raunchy than the original Korean. For example, time after time, a character in the drama says damn. That is what the subtitles show, but the dubbing has to add to it and all of the sudden it is G. Damn. It happens over and over again. Why? Does it add to more ratings? However there are millions of people of faith, Christians and Muslims, who are offended, deeply offended with this. That is just one example. If the dubbing was accurate I would have nothing to complain about. Yet that isn't the case. Oh well, I guess that is what Netflix wants and what they choose to stand for.
So Jimin got social exposure while others got what?? Make it make sense. Also, that's a lie. They both put caption…
Boy, so many responses! Never have been accused in being in a hole of shame. However I still have my doubts that they are still together. Compare their Instagram posts to WJ/JW in post after post they are together. Not only together, but loving and caring for each other. Expect for the above little grouping of pictures we have nothing else from JM/JY. I sort of think the Producers talked them into posting this little grouping of pictures to keep hope alive for folks like you. And how do you translate these few pictures into a whole vacation? Such wishful thinking.
I am finished now and looking forward to going back into my hole of shame. LOL
it seems the only couple who have happy ending is woojae and jiwon π₯°
Sorry they are not together unless you want to buy into the illusion that they are in a "secret relationship." That is the current hope. But it is a bridge too far. No picture of them together. No acknowledgement that they were dating. Only thanking each other and liking each others post. Not much to go on.
Don't know about CE/Chan couple yet but WJ/JW are official. At the end, they were the true power couple in this show because they made a true and long lasting Heart Pairing. Yet they got the least amount of time on the show. Shame on the editors!!
Importantly, it appears that JM/JY are not a couple. What a joke! After all his angst over her, from the first episode how can this be. Well let me tell you how -- he is a phony who was only after more social exposure. Poor JeYeon. I can't help but believe she was duped. Who knows maybe Jimin can get a new dating show for the third time around.
I don't know why but watching Jiwon and Woojae makes me uncomfortable somehow, why do I feel like they are settling…
You Jimin shippers are just amazing. Hey, JeYeon has no hard feelings about WooJae, in fact she says that Italy will remain a good memory for her. The only villain in Italy was Jimin. The way her crudely treated Jiwon made me not like him from the start. In fact, and I know this will, make you angry. I believe that he is only in this drama for himself. I guess he didn't get enough media exposure in his first reality dating drama. For YeJeon's sake I hope I am wrong, but unless she can up his hits on X and Instagram I don't give the relationship much of a chance.
Wasn't the purpose of this show to find someone and have a real deep relationship that can even lead to marriage? It seems to me the only couple that is really headed in that direction is WooJae and Jiwon. But because there is no longer any angst or turmoil I guess to the great masses they aren't as interesting as JM/JY. That may be true, but if the premise of this show is taken seriously then it will be WooJae and JiWon and perhaps CE/CW who will make it a success.
By far, by far, the most confusing person on this show is JeYeon. Frankly I believe a lot of people are just projecting their own wishes on who she should choose. Could it be that she has never recovered from her parting ways with Woojae because they had such different values? Most likely not. Rather is she truly torn and confused with her emotions. Most likely. But the troubling thing is that she gives mixed signals. She gave a green light (sort of) to Sangyoon when he botched his response. She gives Jimin hope all the time with her looks and her visits. But unlike Jimin she is never all in. Truthfully, and I am surprised I am saying this, because I have never been a Jimin fan, he has been crystal clear about his feelings. The man has put himself out there. He has declared his feelings in no uncertain terms. Jimin deserves and his earned a clear answer from our beautiful lawyer.
I know it is human nature to be drawn in a drama or a reality show like this to the love triangle and the angst. It does make good tv. But for me, I take a lot more pleasure in the couples who are fulfilling what this show is suppose to be about -- finding your lifelong partner. So for me, even though I enjoy the angst, my favorite parts are when WJ/JW and CY/Chaeeun are given time.
I just started to watch this drama by chance and really like it. The main couple -- what can I say -- I really like it -- go figure. Why do I like it? Well the answer is three words: the main couple. The visuals, the steamy stares of the ML, the smile and the pouts of the FL are simply crazy. But more than that it is a simple romcom that is just fund to watch.
What really put a smile on my face is what I am going to term -- the stupid contract troupe. I mean she makes him sign the typical marriage contract. The only problem is that in the next few days she totally falls in love with him. Why? Because he is her ideal man. So we come to the wedding and he begins to fulfill the contract he signed in blood. And she is over on the bed in angst about her stupidity in making him sign a contract. I howled with laughter!!
If this drama stays with this couple and doesn't go down some typical cdrama rabbit holes with other couples that takes the focus off what could make this a really, really good drama we are in for a fun 30 episode ride!
The Jimin shippers here and elsewhere are a crack-up. I am worried about them. And now that WooJae and Jiwon are going to be an endgame couple, I feel enough relief, to wish you Jimin fangirl's and boy's a good ending. I hope that Jimin ends up with JeYeon just to avoid the angst and the breaking of thousands of hearts. The world, then, wouldn't come crashing down lol.
OK, let me put this bluntly, Hong Ming Ki and Oh Yeju need to be the main couple in a drama! Here are some cdramas that would be be great for them adapted into a kdrama: Our Secrets, Forever Love, Hidden Love, and When I Fly Towards You. Any of these would work. Come on, those who manage these future stars -- Get to work!
With the prerelease teaser of episode 9 it is very evident that Jimin is going to have a tough episode. YeJeon is going out with WooJae (remember the post card on the last day in Italy WooJae and YeJeon wrote each other cutting Jimin out). It is also evident that the new guy is all in for JeYeon, and if the prerelease is accurate, she doesn't say no. So Jimin shippers prepare for huge angst!!!!
After watching episode 7 I can see why the big rumor is that YeJeon is going to end up with the new "catfish" coming in episode 8. Jimon is all in, but I can see that YeJeon still has feelings for WooJae. She looked pretty devastated when Jiwon brazenly and confidently put her arm in WooJae's in the kitchen. Now that was a bold move and a big throwdown! Jimin can make JeYeon smile, but it is still a one sided relationship.
