Firstly, just because they hv a similar xinxia setup then a drama can't be good because I find Immortal Samsara characterization & love story is even far better than AOL & TMPOB and you see how's the rating of AOL & TMPOB, hence Immortal Samsara deserves better rating.
Immortal Samsara has ML & FL being both tortured & sacrificed their life for their beloved & imo not even AOL, TMPOB or even LAR did that, usually it's rather imbalance, whether the FL or the ML only & never equal like IS did here.
Also their characterization & contrasting difference is really refreshingly written, Yan Dan is my fav FL character to date, she's smart, witty, caring & how they wrote her lines are beyond excellent (& this is coming from a person who dislike Jin Mi character on AOL)
YY/TZ also deserve all the praising & I wouldn't even want to go there since my post will be too long to post.

2ndly, their acting is superior than all the airing ones & no one can convinced me otherwise.

3rdly, even if the other airing drama is a good drama, idk why ppl shd rate this drama lower just because of it, it only reflects people's inferiority & the way ppl throw hate on this drama & only judge it from the surface is actually pretty funny when those who really watch it can see beyond & understood it well why this drama is precious, otherwise they won't topping rating charts left & right w/ remarkable achievement more than the rest of other airing drama & all 2022 chinese drama to date, esp in their origin country who owned XinXia itself.

She did but maybe she faked it so idk. Honestly I too was upset to see her first reaction after knowing YY did love her was throwing her love at the night forgetting river , but tonight actually we get a better understanding on her view. She was afraid that she'll be the one who will always left behind as TZ as mortal will only stay momentarily & YY will always choose the three realms, she was afraid of being hurted & I quite understand that, tho still the clueless TZ being heartbroken is so damn pitiful, but all 3 are equally hurting tonight 🥲

The night at the forgetting river will always held a special place in my heart, because just like Yan Dan who can't seem to avoid keep revisiting that place, I too need to keep revisiting that sacred place for us Immortals 3 days a week everyweek, just to survive all the wait, rinse and repeat 🥲

Ep 39 is such a tear jerker ep indeed, no wonder crying emo is marked on Youku calendar for IS ep 39.
I'm still okay at the first rejection so I think I was saved but it's my foolishness to think that way. The sad parts just keep on delivering hence once my tears dropped, it won't stop falling as the flooding gate has opened.

I def didn't expect TZ would do a role playing as YY neither YY himself to show up just yet so am not sure why preview ep 39 indicates it like that, guess it's another dream sequence from TZ? Poor boy dreams a lot for sure, just like CY has said in the BTS 😂😂😂

Yass, so romantic & their love even continue from LAR, I take it as their spinoff love story 🤣, it's always a delight to see Si Feng & Li Yan best buddy in CY's drama, he's such a great actor & he always play an interesting & dependable character to Cheng Yi's.

YD imo still doesn't understand the weight of YY position, they can't be together unless she learn his burden & duty will always be with him just like his love for her.
His burden & duty has been brought to him eversince he was born, thus it's embodied & became a part of his character, remove it & he'll no longer be the YY we know.
They need to have a better understanding & find a middle ground, otherwise history will repeated itself.

Agree, at that point I'd be just as devastated as XX lover TZQ, what the point of having your love if it came at the expense of losing everyone else (death), you won't be happy eitherway.
