I wanted to watch this because the plot sound interesting and i like lee chung ah but now i m not sure given the…
It's not a terrible show by any stretch of the imagination. It's just that it could be a lot better. Most of the side characters are just props really for NGM and the villains. There are good ideas but the script doesn't do them justice. Who knows, you might like it.
This is just disappointing and really not worth the watch. I think Nam gong min is losing his touch I am afraid…
NGM can't get it right 100% of the time. His character is the most interesting one so I can't blame him for picking this project. He's not responsible for writing all the other characters.
I really wished I liked this more. Three episodes in and I'm really struggling to like the female lead. Unfortunately I don't find her antics funny neither do I find her well-written. Her interactions with LJS' character are very heavy-handed. Plus I'm not enjoying how they're integrating rom com tropes in the world building. The premise is good and there are fascinating ideas being toyed around. Sadly though I'm not wowed by this as I was hoping to be. Maybe I'm 4 years too late and there have been so many decent sci-fi/ fantasy dramas since.
Jamie was never an important character since day one, Its rather you guys had expectations.
My quibble is that you blamed audience expectation. ;)
If the audience thought that Jamie was important is because the show gave that impression in those early episodes. She had a lot of screen time especially with NGM. Plus she's on the poster with NGM and SH.
Don't worry, I blame the writer a lot here and elsewhere.

Why not? She's one of the 3 kids. If we had expectations it's because the show built it up. I think people have every right to be annoyed if the show did a bait and switch.
The show relies too much on filler to move things along. What's the point of the rain scenes? Just get her to the island already. Quit stalling for time. Honestly this could easily have been a 12 episode drama at the rate things are going.
I'm on episode 4 and I have a couple of questions. First, how much romance does it have? And, will Gong Hye Won…
The romance is not front and centre and so far kept to the minimum. Thankfully. If the show hadn't force fed us with it, I could have blissfully gave my own interpretation to it. I don't think it's helped much by the actress' rather limited range in facial expressions.
This was stellar (albeit a little slow) untill the hints of romance started to become obvious. From there, nothing…
I heard it was pre-produced. It would have to be with all the sfx required. But I know what you're saying that's why I wonder if they ran out of money or if there was some kind of external interference.
A low budget Scooby Doo style web drama set during the Republican era. Cops and coroner dig into mysteries featuring possible connections with the paranormal. Fun, watchable series. Reminds me of My Roommate is a Detective but without the ridiculous amounts of bickering that marked Roommate.
I am not someone who has read the webtoon or intends to. I've enjoyed the drama entirely on its own merits. For me this is clearly one of the year's best because despite the horror tag, it is such a deeply moving, philosophically rich drama. The character development even in such a short drama with a large cast is far better than most other longer K dramas for me.
If you can get past the relentless monsterization and gore of the early episodes, this show will really make you think about what you believe and why you believe what you believe. Good and evil... that sort of stuff. The big questions of life.
A well-made, carefully thought out drama from start to finish. No doubt it took a leaf or two out of other similar time slip shows but did it's own thing with it. Kudos to the writer, director, cast and crew for a fun ride. For keeping to the rules. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Loved the finale... all's well with the world. No more frenetic rushing around to save lives. Everyone living out their lives surrounded by the people they love.

It's the romance that gives me whiplash.
