I’ve never seen Tian in this type of role for female leads, I often see he play the cutesy damsel in distress. Only on the first episode and I’m excited to see this version of her

I think it’s because in the book, only the male members pass away. It didn’t really make the book somber. In the sense that we as the audience never knew them any way. It’s more of a similar vibe to the prisoner of beauty (book). To turn it into a comedy would be pretty easy I think.

Also if I’m not mistaken XJ and HRF/HY didn’t have beef in the book. At least not in the beginning

It’s a good thing I read the book awhile ago, I might have been disappointed if I remembered every detail lol. But I understand the writers, they want more people to watch it than the fan base, so they had to juice it up with extra details and plots.

I’m curious did anything happen between the detective and the teacher. I came her from a random clip I saw on instagram. If you can roughly spoil the plot. Thanks

If you couldn’t sit through this one you’d hate to si through the original, it’s slower paced. I prefer the original though.
