Also trying to shame us, romance lovers for having concern about the possibility of a kiss scene is DIABOLICAL.
It’s scarce commodity in romantic cdramas. Having factors that can limit the possibility is disheartening at times.
I am virtually sticking out my tongue at y’all.

Wow, this comment section. Yikes.

If the age bothers you skip it.
If people stating that age bothers them. Ignore it.
Simple.

Me personally, I’m going to watch and wish for the best. Ai Mi, is a great actress, I look forward to her growth.

Does it suck she’s in this position that’s attracting controversy? Yes it does. Hopefully, everyone involved made this drama keeping in mind all angles.

Ultimately it will be whatever it is. Nothing we can do about it.

I'm so invested in the second ML couple. I knew something was off , her husband is the worst. I really hope she…
I thought that too, I was very suspicious of him coming in for coffee back to back

True, but he's so foul about it and his tactics are proof that he's no competition for Yu and that's why he goes…
Also very true. His underhanded tactics do nothing for his image

I didn't like him since the incident at the casino, where he did not stand up for his wife and let that guy insult…
He just got progressively worse from that point forward

Being MID is okay but being MID and insecure is why a lot of men cheat. DIVORCE!! lol
Right! Not Everyman is going to be what romance films and books are made of , so coasting by could have been acceptable but being irresponsible enough for some girl to kiss you?! Despicable.

and that says a lot about majority of fans here that hated him just because he's not that handsome and make him…
I was getting used to their pairing cause not everyone gets to marry the type of man romance films and books are made of but he progressively got worse!

And I also get the vibe that Pei doesn’t even know the details of the incident. He probably is just competing with his stepbro because of his dad comparing them

Putting a band aid on someone’s forehead is not a signal of love and marriage. She’s being nice to him for…
Also in the latest episode she draws the line with him.

Zhao’s husband irritates me.

Yes, he didn’t set out to cheat, and yes technically he hasn’t been a bad husband per se, maybe neglectful . TBH, in the beginning I thought he was cheating when it was revealed that he wasn’t and that he was trying to build a business I realized that he is just unfortunately the average husband.

Many women marry this type of man, present when necessary, meets the check boxes on a list. Decent, nice, and occasionally romantic. So I was ready to let it go. And just chop it up to averageness.

But now in the latest episode with the girl. I realize he’s the “nice guy” you know the type to think they are good because they haven’t committed any major sin. Stand for nothing, fall for everything type.

How irritating.

People are now saying Pei doesn’t love FL or have any interest in her but I'm pretty sure in coming episodes…
Putting a band aid on someone’s forehead is not a signal of love and marriage.

She’s being nice to him for this project. He hasn’t done anything mean to her, in fact all their direct interactions point to him being a decent person if nice is a stretch.

The ML also hasn’t disclosed anything to her. All she knows is that he doesn’t get along with his family and their companies compete for projects. She has no idea or inkling the type of enmity there is between them.

Love triangles are stupid agreed. But placing the blame on women is a little much.

Even in real life, I’ve been friends with guys and treat them the same way I would female friends bar a few things that only girls get. If he develops feelings or wants to cross that line, that’s on him. Not me. Everyone is in charge of their own feelings and should act accordingly and without guilt.

*cough, cough* Zhao husband , he’s the tru problem. lol

And another thing. The 2ML’s character was a direct contrast to the ML. cause the ML even with his doubts about her never gave up on her, while the 2ML heard negative things and ran with it. Never once believing in her or her character. He used Rong as a cop out. It’s his fault! No one forced home to believe all the bad things and even if he heard them he could have confronted her about it.

I loved the minor subplot of the dad and the “good friend” and her daughter. I always see -lots like those…
An idea if the Chinese writers and producers need it:
The father of the main female lead was previously married . His previous wife left him because he lost his job and the small business he was running. a couple years later he runs into the female leads Mom who comes from a family of money and she has her own business where she hires him and they fall in love in the Process His previous wife didn’t know that the current wife, (main FL’s mom) family is wealthy so she made things really difficult for her and then and would barely let him see his daughter, but then she found out that they are wealthy now, so then she began to figure out how to throw her daughter upon them. after her current husband dies who she has two other daughters with she plays the sick/poor first love role. The Eldest daughter has always been envious of her half sister (FL) because she is always spoiled by her mom and her mom‘s family. She always has the latest things, etc. The father does the best to give her nice things but he can’t afford some of the stuff that the FL mom can afford. The FL mom once used to offer her things but the girl would throw it and refuse it and saying she doesn’t need her charity (she’s clearly poisoned by her mom’s thoughts). There’s schemes there’s intrigue etc. the main FL dad takes care of her (previous wife) and her kids since she’s a widow. The middle daughter (previous wife and deceased husband kid) is really close to her dad and can’t stand how her mom and elder sister are acting. The youngest daughter is a child (adopted niece) and is easily manipulated type vibes.

As for our female lead’s love story the possibilities are endless.

I loved the minor subplot of the dad and the “good friend” and her daughter. I always see -lots like those pay to watch each episode shorts that are in ads. But I absolutely REFUSE to pay. So here I at least get a little taste of it. I hope we get a drama that uses this as the main plot one day, so I can get my curiosity full satisfied lol

This drama made me realize what I love most about c dramas (&k dramas). I love the subtle ways in which the female lead can get under the skin of the male lead, like subconsciously he’s worried about her foot or that she misunderstood him. It’s like these little details that build romance. 10/10 on that aspect
