RIGHT!!!! This is so frustrating. Because I thought wow they did 2/3rd of the drama good, now the ending is kinda predictable, how hard can it be! Cursed... Just to make it an unpredictable "fresh" drama they added this new concept that quite frankly the audience was ok without. I think the writers completely forget the values that each character is supposed to follow after it hits ep 10. IDK what is this memory loss but I hope they learn not to. This is why I am more attracted to C-dramas these days. K-dramas are getting a bit too melo and illogical to take in.
This drama has changed my opinion of Bai Lu. I liked her acting before especially her earlier works but then it seemed like it was all the same, which is not bad just predictable.
But now, in this drama, she has outdone herself. Her control over her expressions is so well demonstrated here. Even her smile can have warmth or none and each evokes a different emotion in me. I am amazed by how well she has executed the material she was given. This drama not only has a great director and writer but also gave actors the space to show their potential. I am amazed at how different the characters act are from expectation even though the plot seemed cliché at first. This is like finding gold when looking for copper. I am so happy the cast found each other. This is easily in my top 3 this year and year is not even over. C-drama gods are blessing us with good content this year haha.

About X - my thoughts exactly, word for word, especially about muting and blocking, ugh! It quickly becomes just echo chambers of the same toxic polar opinions. It gets pretty overwhelming pretty quickly. This is why I love platforms like MDL. I know what I am getting into. Roughly haha.
