RIGHT!! Idk how everyone likes his character. That is NO way to treat someone u claim to like... Sigh! Why are…
Absolutely! There would have been long essays telling the female character off if she did anything remotely along those lines. I hate it when they add unnecessary scenes into script that never needed extra drama. Ye should have dealt with his feelings alone and in private rather than rushing in like a madman.
First he pointed a gun at her, then he whipped her with a whip in a fit of rage because she called him out on…
RIGHT!! Idk how everyone likes his character. That is NO way to treat someone u claim to like... Sigh! Why are men excused of their toddler tantrums at an age eligible to marry?? πππ Why is he acting like he got cheated on or something?? They NEVER had mutual feelings, he never confessed, and behaved awfully. This SHOULD NOT BE ROMANTICISED!! Ugh... Very manipulative, very narcissistic, very apathetic, absolutely 0 emotional regulation. What was he high on thinking FL would like him after all the pathetic actions of his from whipping to shoving her away.
But tbh, I am also really angry at FL. Why is she so extra this episode behaving as if she took advantage of him?? They look like lovers forced to marry someone else against their will. The director/screenwriter did FL dirty here by making her a weak character suddenly when up until now she has been mostly fearless. Why is she so scared of telling him or rather why does she need to tell him? If he is a true friend he would have reeled in his emotions and tried to be happy for her at least in front of her. This just shows how he is used to having his way around everyone and everything. One setback is making him ballistic. Bro calm down. For someone who was supposed to have died young from illness, he sure takes life very lightly - his and others. What a pathetic excuse of human being.
Hahaha. I kind of agree. It is feels like the writers had tea but while carrying due to hand being unstable kept spilling it :(. This drama had a lot of potential from setup and cast to budget. But they truly did not use it wisely. Had high hopes. Only continuing because of main actors.
I have worked in the same industry for thirty years to build a career I am proud of. I have worked hard for everything…
IMO it gets better in 3rd and 4th ep. I agree that in the 1st and 2nd ep, the FL was a bit much for my liking, however they do hint at a reason for him to be moved to 3rd team (she had a look at the case he was working on and probably deleted a file (though not shown if she actually deleted it)). Still not the best intros to FL. But 3rd and 4th seem fun and I will continue watching. I would suggest u give it a go too and see if it is to your liking. For sure, the HR and Audit team's roles seem to be very ambiguous here. Or maybe it is a SK thing.
I've changed my ratings π₯Ή. the second act really screwed up in quality and now I'm afraid for the third act.…
Right!? The 1st arc was beautiful and the next ones are butchered so bad it makes me wanna re-read novel and drop the drama. Even the acting feels repetitive esp for XZ character
Honestly Iβm disgusted by the Mr Jin bandit. Heβs so disrespectful in the name of a quick comic relief and…
Finally someone said it! It didnt make sense to make him like FL. Like bro u know she married, devoted and loyal. So is her hubby. Why start something which u know wont end well!?
They added the Pig Butcher Squad in the plot and made they very troupe-y and theatrical. Very predictable and unfleshed characters. I skipped several of their scenes as they only add comic relief which I have seen in 10s of other dramas too. Very disappointing...
U noticed right. Maybe due to less time available and lot of plot to cover they cut down several scenes from novel…
Yes it does. But they are not overly detailed like a smut but more suggestive. In novel ML cant get enough of FL hehe. Also FL's battles are written well enough that I can imagine them well
I love the FL but also annoyed with some of her choices. I blame the writers because on the one hand, she's taking…
U noticed right. Maybe due to less time available and lot of plot to cover they cut down several scenes from novel that imo make the plot more rich and sensible. But I understand the choices made. Just a pity that due to Chinese laws they cant have a drama longer than 40 episodes. 50 would have made it perfect... Such a pity
YOOO WTF....IS SHE FOR REALL??? She knocked out the GENERAL. What are they gonna do ? Gosh! He should have told…
They explained this chapter really well in novel.
She struggled quite a bit and busted her hand really bad. Others tried to defeat him too but were overpowered easily. But no one could succeed. Enemy even cracked her knifes in half. She used other weapons from dead enemy soldiers and they all got shattered one by one. Then she noticed the cut on enemy general's right hand she had made with her butcher knives earlier. The cut was so deep that his bone was visible. She devised a plan to decapacitate his right hand. In the meanwhile her platoon leader or general (I forgot who) saw her struggling and threw his strong sword towards her thinking she can defeat him if only she had a strong weapon on hand. This is the distraction she needs. She pretends to go for the sword in air and just as enemy general is about to interject by breaking that hand of hers, she changes her hand's direction to completely injure his right hand. This leads to sharp pain making him drop his thorny hammer. This leads to her headgear falling and him realizing its a woman (or it happens slightly earlier). He mocks her and says he will use her to make groom out of his men (eww, grape threat). She grabs the fallen hammer and thrusts it on him with full force. In just three swings she kills him! During this he realizes that the only reason she wasnt able to hold her own was because her weapon wasnt strong enough, unlike his heavy, sturdy hammer. When they has equally strong weapons, he was no match.
This chapter was very satisfying to read because it not only showed her strength but also her ability to think and stay calm despite being overpowered and mocked.
I am not able to understand the imperial family here. We see a young emperor in the starting of the series.. Is…
Sui are rebels and hence their dad is regarded as their king but hasn't been crowned nor won the war yet. The son of the head of rebels therefore is called the heir apparent cuz he is apparently "crown prince" of the rebels
I'm sorry they cut the chicken blood scenes from the book, they were really funny. I understand we are pressed…
IKR!! I was really looking forward to this particular scene cuz it very organically leads to her drugging her "dramatically injured" husband. It makes perfect sense why she thought he would die if he went on to battle. Also, the bear scene. Ahh...!!
What exactly is the relationship between General Wu'an and the princess? I got the impression they were childhood…
I am pretty sure she is a higher rank, it is just that the warzone is his turf and so he has a say there because it relates to the safety of all citizens including princess, and soldiers. I believe that is why he has the authority to talk to her that way. Also, it seems their relationship is friendly as they were supposedly engaged or proposed to be engaged once however it was rejected by ML.
