Not done with the drama yet but had to come here to vent because I am sick & tired of the disgusting colorist…
Such a shame that its happened again😞. Tencent have had racist controversies, so this is standard for them. In other C-dramas, I've seen racist scenes before like in The Fox's Summer but to read that this also has it too is unfortunate (which indicates a clear theme). Please don't persevere 🙏 and watch C-dramas that have such scenes, as I doubt a Chinese person would if the situation was reversed (and I have seen a Christmas film that I cannot recall the name of that was extremely racist against Chinese people)🙅♀️. Sickening stuff! 🤮
The subbing is ... perplexing and unintentionally hilarious. Looks to be like very literal interpretations, bad grammar and pronouns. Reminds me of the first set of subs for Well Intended Love 😬Google Translate, essentially.
I could tell chemistry was lacking right from the clips I saw of it! That's a non-starter for a romance ... 😬
Thank goodness someone else agrees! 😌 I just felt profound coldness from their behind the scenes interactions. A shame, as the actor tends to have strong on-screen chemistry with his co-stars e.g. Stealth Walker and The Sleepless Princess ...😞
Really like this drama but is it just me that feels like the main leads have awkward kiss scenes....... 2nd couple…
👏Wholeheartedly agreed! Even for a sweet kiss between the main pairing, it was dull! The secondary couple has its issues, with an immature SFL, but their kisses are better🤷♀️.
idk why ppl keep comparing the two couples and wanting hatae to have a relationship as steamy as the second lead…
Two contrasting couples are bound to be compared. Some reasons may be: 1. It's on Netflix drama and that brings certain ... expectations. 2. The comic its based on is pretty risqué. 3. The main couple had a lot of build up and their kiss at the end of ep.8 is like ... a whimper of an ending. Even for a sweet kiss, it was meh.
Yet another disappointing episode.Just when you think ML and FL can not get any pathetic,The show turns ML into…
From where I reached in the comic, it has been watered down a great deal, but that's to be expected when former pop stars are cast unfortunately. The FL does offer something different in that she comforted him in a way he appreciated about his parents. The writing for her could be SO much better as she's sending a lot of mixed signals in ep 8. I got C-drama flashbacks but there are C-dramas with better kiss scenes between the main couple 🤷♀️Heck, let China and Taiwan remake it! I want to see how it would be🤔

Hope so too 🤞
