I really don't understand the ending part after she jumps off clips...shows the 3rd student in wheelchair years later...what were they trying to say? Who was left and going away?

I loved under the power...Allen was great in that series because he had many facets...a cold general...a loving son who missed his mom...when he fell in love...a sweet boyfriend...and I loved the most...an 8 year old boy...haha

But this series is a good contrast for his acting...he is totally different...story is totally different...Allen uses his xray eyes for his emotions...microexpression...

Oh my goodness...I was rewatching and I love this scene the most also...this is the scene that shows their love...how he treats her differently from his other "students"....he doesnt hug his other students that way...its because he loves her....I was going to write about this scene but you beat me....s

Throughout later story...I was like why why do he has to be so stupidly loyal ? IF he kept his life it would have been better for the country. He sacrificed whole life and died so tortuously for no reason....after all his contributions..

UUGHHH...so sad...

Just finished series...overall I enjoyed it however I must say it lacked the same overall storyline that One and Only had...OnO had an overalls tory for most characters whereas in this drama they concentrated on the romance and did not seem to executed a well written plot...

Likes:
1. No qualms...both Allen and Bailu were excellent...
2. Her outfits were beautiful
3. Love how as time past they started having matching outfits starting chapter 15/16...
4. I was fine with they shyness (yes I understand ZSC was less bold than in the book and those hoping for sizzling fire like intimacy were dissapointed) -- and definitely don't blame Allen
5. Loved the support and love growing together
6. Although I wished they could say reincarnation I was fine with how they tried to go around it ...

Dislikes:
1. Whereas one and only I felt his "beautiful bones"...here I did not...the drama did not emphasize it well. There was just one meeting with elders where they rejected him..one discussion he had with shiyi and another time with little cousin Ren his ambitions...and that was it...nothing more..there was no real action
2. Conflict between the brothers...one scene his brother made him wait for few hours...one scene in Bremen...and thats practically it...never really showed how his brother was behind back doing bad things
3. So his brother signed papers to turn himself in..then he sees a knife and then goes crazy trying to kill ZSC?
4. Hence..not much conflict...besides the fact that his stepmom was harsh on him and brother didnt like him...I didn't see much that need that justify the sister need to push Shiyi to water and poison her to hope that ZSC leave family....just there wasn't much of a good story...unlike ONO I can see how the kings overturned...prince taking over thrown.. etc etc
5. Didn't explain the lineage...why ancient ZSC was in the family books? and I thought end of ONO his good name was given back to ZSC...even if history was written by the winners...he shouldn't still be known as a traitor having an affair with wife...if old ZSC was a traitor why did his family give modern day ZSC that name?

Overall I think this drama tried to concentrate solely on the romance...but I think they could have given more "meat" to the storyline...it was a slow moving drama...not everyone's cup of tea...but I did enjoy the actors and actresses....loved the details of clothing to match..love the lovey dovey. scenes..

Have anyone noticed though...that Bailu loves to "tusk tsk alot" in her acting...meaning she would say "Tsk" at end of line when like the scene she saw his closet in Bremen full of same boring colored clothing...

Was wondering in the the trailer…there was a scene where he was sitting silly on the chair and she literally pulled him to bed…just showing arms…he was wearing just a white shirt…

Some of these poetic lines I don’t understand. Like when after consummation they on bed he mentioned a poem ..about men should not indulge n female or songs?


also in the novel beautiful bones… was just one chapter.. I recall she came to him as a little girl of 7 years old…and they. We’re together for ten years 17 as teacher and student? in o@o drama she was of course older at 16 to 26。 right? That’s why in this drama she meets modern day him at 26 years old…

I continued watching glory tang due to his acting….his crying scenes were so good…especially when the fl wanted to leave him ..and he begged her stay…

Yep somethings don’t make sense in the drama…but every drama has that…


That beat up analogy didn’t make sense either ….

Shiyi is not being abused…. ZSC Uniates the first consummation…

Quite frankly I would rather have a guy shy and slow in relationship then quickly try get her in bed .. we both know they are virgins and probably never dated or kissed before… why they made a scene letting go her hand…blame the scriptwriter..

It’s just one ridiculous scene..

Vs the other scenes where you do see him warming up to her…doing chores…worried when she is sick both times..falling in water and appendndacitic…taking care of her while working at home..

As said before good husband material…I would look over his small negative spots and want a husband like him too…

Why concentrate on one dumb let go hand scene and take away all the other great things he does for her?

Too much makeup in oao…on him

I thought he looked the best in under power….not too chubby and not too skinny….

In the snake drama he was too skinny and in love a lifetime too chubby..

Many people didn’t like that line “I am ready” in the drama…was that in the novel? I can’t recall…

Anyway many were put down by that…it actually begun when they were driving home after changing and he asked if she likes kids…he was really thinking about having kids as groom mates as wedding…she took that as him wanting to have sex when they c9me home…hence she changed into nice lingerie….

All along she misunderstood him…and he thought she understood,,,the face on Allen was pre ious actually to me because you can see he was bewildered…it wasn’t that he wasn’t reciprocating her desire…it’s that he didn’t understand at first…and then as he was in his studies he final,y understood what she meant…and I felt he was going to hit himself…like duh..I am so dumb….


So when he returned to bedroom he was shy…but more so I felt he was embarrassed that he didn’t un original,y what she meant and thus he says…I am ready…so he was more embarrassed with his stupidity of not getting her clue at first….

So quite frankly I didn’t find his I am ready comment offensive….

I think some people here are just put off by his naive ness in a relationship and then goes and blame Allen or the character for being disprectful…to her wishes…I don’t think so…..he is slow in the relationship but you can tell he does love her and want skinship…he is the one who I initiated the first consummation and is the one first to ask to live together when they return Germany to which she weirdly rejected and asked him to sleep in own stud6 room..

Yep… I am not complaining …he is a great actor to me….

Have you guys watched chapter 17/18 where shiyi told her mom that ZSC is an honest man and trust he had no other girlfriend besides her because she is the one that is always taking the lead in the relationship? And then she kisses him when he is cooking with the dad and her mom sees?

Doesn’t this already demonstrate to you guys that it’s not the actor Allen who is purposely being shy…his character is written as such? So why blame him? His passiveness in both lives is actually annoying to me… more so in the last life because he was stupid enough to surrender and gave her up….and got himself killed tragically…stupid loyalty…so his characters in both are written to be passive…and to me Allen is doing a good job portraying it…….his character is different than those he played before……I appreciate actors who in each drama act different,y …instead of those who plays the same roles…..like the guy in boss and me with zhaoliying….forgot his name….he plays similar roles with passionate kissing in many of his drama….



If he was that bad an actor he wouldn’t have gotten popular with glory tang and under power…based on acting because both series wasn’t like a true hit like the untamed or world of honor where it’s traffic actors ,,,

Yeah…I just finished dilemma and yang yang my glory…I felt the same way…..nothing Jcc to remember ….

I think because one and on,y was so tragic it was a lasting impression …hard to beat..
