That first scene was really well done! I don't know where she was supposed to get the knife lol...Hope they get a second collaboration . I also liked her in Footprints of Change and Les Belle, two different genres and characters she did well in. I don’t fast forward on Miss Zhong too, I think all the supporting characters have something to bring to the story, I enjoy the dynamics they have.

Glad to hear the Netizens have a different reaction. Romance or no romance I am here for the story which is has been an exciting beautifully shot journey so far, something new about TLC's past is revealed each episode. A Shui in not a physical fighter but she has other strengths, we have seen she does what she can to not be a burden, uses her brain, and like you say it benefits the whole group, she knows where she stands as in TLC's main goal is LY. The kiss was beautifully shot like everything else, I think it's also good she did it discreetly that way so the lady doesn't know about her blood.
The A Shui hate eek. This comment section is crazy you have one extreme of pple asking for romance and then the other that doesn’t want romance but only enjoy shipping him with males. A Shui is a fragile character that is normally hated by viewers. Also being played by Jelly Lin who is not really liked on MDL. Anything A Shui does is not going to be good enough because of the biases, the kiss shutters BL shippers. She is in the original plot and doing what she is supposed to do. She has not hurt the ML in fact heals him but she seems to public enemy number 1 because she just exists yet she is supposed to exist for the story.
rolling my eyes hard at any "is there romance" question
I don’t why people are not scrolling a bit through the comments before they ask. The question has been asked and answered for what feels like a million times!
Can someone explain to me what is Jelly Lin (A Shui) doing in this story? Does her name A Shui have a meaning…
When she has discussions with TLC, it seems to be a way to let us know what he is thinking. Some have also speculated that she was sent to be by his side to be close to him,so he feels the pain of loosing someone. They have also said he might know there is a connection with Liu Yan, that's why he is keeping her close. It's a mystery it will probably be clearer late on.
When she was speaking to that man who lost his son, I was wondering why are they having a conversation, later on it made sense that it helped build a bit of trust when she went to ask them for help to rescue TLC and the gang when that tower was burning. So I think her role will make sense as the story unfolds.
All done, congratulations to everyone who worked on this drama! In addition to liking that its a HE, I also liked that fun good side characters didn't die like they sometimes do!
Tang Lici is a diva lol... when he wasn't let in he pulled the "Do you know who I am" card, upgraded his boat, clothes and even A Shui had a beautiful gown on. He is such a character and always so calm!
Tang Li Ci calm drinking his tea while everyone is being moved every which way as the boat goes into the Bermuda Triangle 😂 Don’t throw up in my boat 🤣
