Reading the comments section, there are definitely some important points I am missed, because I couldn't control myself and watched with bad subs lol... I plan to binge watch from the beginning now.

He also knows about the poison she was taking to make herself sick. That must have been heartbreaking for him.

I still don't like Ziping, hope she doesn't betray her later. How can you try to kill the person who has been the nicest to you. Zijin forgave her so easily, she is a better person than I will ever be lol..I also think Ziping is a bit clingy, allow Zi Jin to make other friends. That other girl needed some support and Ziping kept on interrupting each time Zijin wanted to show her some concern.

Is it me, or is there a big editing flaw because of having to cut down episodes between ep 8 and ep9? In ep8 they met for like 2mins. In eps 9 we seem to have missed how they are so close she is watching him train and he even asks her for advice. Loving their chemistry though. Also love how Zi Jin loves and respect herself and sets boundaries with him, even though she is infatuated with him.

I agree, I quite like the pacing . Nice character introductions, looking forward to how they all turn out. Food looks amazing, they should give us recipe cards.
