Oh my god the first 14mins of episode 45 needed to be the end of the drama for Haishi and shifu's story, it was just perfect.

I wonder if the actor playing Ji Chang done the voice. The voice changes between him playing sweet clueless brother and confident brother eager to overthrow his brother are nicely done.

Either that or its Tilan's kid Hai Shi ends up raising. I just don't want emperor to have that kind of intimacy with Haishi. I think COVID has changed the way people interact with this platform. Eternal Love for me is better than this better than most historical dramas in my opinion , but I never used to comment before COVID. So didn't comment while I was watching it. So I wouldn't use the comments section as a comparison for any dramas before COVID to those during COVID.
