XY is much harder on herself than she should be really, she doesn't owe that guy anything who knew the lies beforehand, and because she made a mistake doesn't mean a guy can take advantage of that and try to trap her. For the sake of the drama they might end up together but irl life women should run away from a guy like that. Her lie is nothing compared to what he decided to trap her in a loveless marriage and threaten her career.

That's what I love about grandma, she can see through that mask, and family is supposed to be able to see through it. Grandma wants her to be truly happy. When she tries to open her family really do not care, over the years growing up they have constantly shown her opening up doesn't matter because they still do not put her first.
