Usually when we have a love triangle it doesn’t last this long, and if it does it’s more like unrequited love, no mixed signals and writers usually character assassinate the 2ML, by making him have a bad side because of jealousy or he happens to be on the evil side or something . Here the triangle has really dragged, with FL actually considering being with him, because he is a nice person. Leads relationships hasn’t progressed because it can’t with this plot. But since the script writers haven’t written anything bad about SML, viewers are now looking to character assassinate him. Pretty interesting, not seen this before. She will clearly end up with the ML as that’s how things go, and both male leads are nice in my view, I really don’t see a reason to try to find fault in SML just to have ML look to be the best choice. They are both good in their own way.

He is worried, that is why he visited FL, he also told her to be careful since he can't be there all the time and Wei is dangerous in how he rose up from nothing, but he would come as much as he can. He already told her to leave, she responded along the lines, you know me if I want to know something I can't let go. Its literally FL's decision to be there, she is an adult, if he were to force her out you would accuse him of not giving FL free will.
His mother has close relations with Wei's wife, he would have enlisted his mother's help to see her. He also did ask for permission to look at those documents and was told they are not confidential he could. He was initially excited to see his name, that's what drew him to them. He does have a life but he is not the ML so they would not show us what else he has been doing, we know he and his dad are ok without the the mother lol...
He told ML to keep respectable distance since they are actually not related, like any other male as to keep distance in those times, if they are not related. And that his feelings are showing, this would create a bad reputation for FL since pple know them as siblings.

ML also didn't say he would help her, he is investigating his own case which is pretty bad timing for him to go as now they are looking for a spy because of him. Again she wouldn't leave when he told her, not sure what you want both men to do? Lock her up?

I think he is a green flag 1. How else do you show interest in someone if you treat all the women the same. This happens in everyday life, when someone likes me I would like to be able to see it. 2. He didn't sleep in the same room, you can also blame FL for this, she has amnesia, but has not lost her mind, she can still determine whether she should be doing that or not. 3. He didn't kiss her like ML did. 4. I don't see anything wrong here, he wasn't manipulative, the conversation hadn't finished and ML came interrupted them she just put the box down. If he was manipulative all the stuff he went through getting her the pill he would have milked, but he never let her know at all. Trying to have another go before you stop there is nothing wrong with that. Most ML in dramas would be bad if we used this standard and no-one should be dating lol.... I also wouldn’t call him obsessive, he is not stalking or anything like that.
I am still loving Shujun and Prince Rui’s story, it makes sense for her to not go all in 100% yet. She did that before and was burnt. Takes time to trust yourself after that. I also like the conversation she had with FL about her feelings.

The mother having that conversation could have happened earlier on instead of dragging it. It didn’t have to wait for anything to be figured out pointing it out that you will hurt him. Also no need for ML to act the way he has been towards him.

What’s been annoying me is not that she doesn’t like him back, but that everyone has known early on. The talk ML’s mother had with her should have been had much earlier on, instead of having SML waste so much time on her. ML has used SML to get closer to the Prince and these past episodes he just seems to be rude to him. You can be nice and appreciate his kindness and still fight for the girl. SML has no idea you are not the brother.
Shoutout to SML’s parents they are so funny and love him so much. I think they would actually let him marry anyone he likes. They would first protest but come around later and become the best in-laws ever.
