I think he does die because from an interview they posted and Daddi mentioned Yan Fang didn’t mind dying if it was by the hands of the person he loves. I can’t wait for the scene where he aims an arrow at Chu Zhao 😆 Just that alone shows he’s not the one for her lol

Not gonna lie, I actually missed the romance so I was quite happy to see it in the latest episode 🙈 I loved seeing Yan Lai getting jealous (of his own brother that they haven’t seen or interact with in days, even weeks) and getting all flustered because of Chu Zhao, the way he tries so hard to avoid her gaze to even drinking an empty cup 🤣💛 He’s so whipped for her and she knows it lol
