We were robbed in episode one where he avenged her, all we saw was her view of him and then her view fades away as she dies 😭 I hope they somehow include the scene later but I don’t see it happening unless he is somehow reborn too and just doesn’t show it nor tells her

The bell dropping scene in episode one is very nice. Non Dudu fans, did you guys know in English translation her fandom is called Little Bells 🔔? It makes that scene even better!! To me the bell dropping the first time was a sign of a bad omen, and then the second time it was her awakening to the truth

I recall a year or two ago there were talks of Youku and one other (forgot if it was Tencent or iQiYi?) reducing episodes down to nearly 16 episodes so I guess 24 is better than 16 but yeah, not enough to build a solid foundation of what they’re trying to get across to viewers

I don’t know about others but I can’t wait for this scene. I remember watching reuters of it when they were filming. He was so tragic and she so mesmerizing as she protects him again, dejavu from first episode. Despite some hiccups along the way, Dudu and YiRan are killing it with their roles!!

Some calling her dumb are upset they changed her character so much from the novel and downplayed everything. Others calling her dumb expects her to be killing it upon rebirth 🙈

If it was me, I’ll be like her upon seeing that fake lover running to me, then I’ll try to off him in a rush and in the process messed up too.

But since it’s a drama, people want her to win every fight (and if she does win every fight, they’ll even complain she’s a Mary Sue so can’t ever win in cdrama land 😅)
