I have really the second lead syndrome, I find Shin Jae so much more interesting ! I want to know what are his bad dreams about already... I really feel like the plot is dragging. And I still don't understand why Yi Gon is so much in love with Tae Eul when it is perhaps even not her who saves his ass. I have a feeling it is Shin Jae and if that is really the case he will continue to act with him codly because he is a man ( sexist logic of Kdramaland )

I think Sung Joon takes the cure one year later that's why in front of his brother's photo he said " I am fine now " ^^ Frankly I thought at the end the two brothers would die in order to let the little girl live. I was already imagining a scene where they were dying next to each other. I am glad to see Sung Joon survives but I am sad how Sung Hoon was all alone until the end even when he died but he took the right choice at the end :)

I think the drama was so-so until the second half because it was frustrating to see Sung Joon always hit for something he hasn't done or to see the dramafocus on the kidnapping and nothing really move on (a lot of time they could have saved the little girl but they always failed...).
The second half was much better because a lot of things was revealed and the characters really grown on me especially because the actors played hyper good even the younger ones !

Yes I feel like it is him too from the second episode. Either he saw the royal symbol because he met the uncle (that's why at first I thought he was Yi gon other self but somehow the uncle changed his name/face/family ) or either he was in the King's dimension perhaps when he was little but end up in the other dimension.

The way the drama always shows him eating sweets will be an hint later on I think because now I am wondering if he is not linked by blood with Yi Rim. That wouldn't even suprise me if this scumbag uses his son for his schemes.

Anyway I have really the feeling Yi Rim will try to manipulate him (perhaps he will try to trade with him like the other one with the " you can take the place of the other you " or something like that but I think Shin Jae will not fall for it. We saw him for example refusing shady money.

In the last episode the uncle was talking about how a typhoon can be even more dangerous if we don't see it coming and when he said that we saw Shin Jae's photo on the screen and I don't think it is by chance.

I will be honest I am easily into K-dramas even if the story sucks, if at least I like some characters I can watch it until the end just to know what will happen to them. That's why this drama is the "tiring"- type for me because I don't really like the main couple and the story is messy BUT I like secondary characters and the villain + I have not really others dramas to watch after the very good 365: repeat the year (I am awaiting " Train " too whitch is also about dimensional's stories it must be the theme this year) so I am sticking with it.

It is really one of the rare drama where I am feeling potential but at the same time I know I will be dissapointed each episodes but I am still here because I am bored and stupid...

Like you said High Quality but dead inside. It is missing the soul in it. I had the same feelings with others kdramas writting by the same screenwriter and I thought I had a problem because a lot of people seemed to enjoy it.

I think I would have rather appreciate if Yi Gon knew Luna in his world and they were lover but she died so he was happy to see her again in another dimension...(Yes it is totally Train's story lol) . At least give a good reason behind his clingy behaviors, I have the impression he is seeing others people as his property all the time and that is bothering me when himself he doesn't like to be touch...
Okay he has a reason because he thinks Tae Eul saved him when he was little but it is not so sureactually. I am still thinking it was Shin Jae somehow and If that is the case I am pretty sure he will continue to be a jerk to him because Shin Jae is a guy (That reminds me Meow the secret boy where the main guy was helped by the girl when he was little but in fact saved by the guy but he was still cold toward him...)

And the characters who are actually interesting have not so much screen-time I want to know what are Shin Jae's dreams and It is intereset to see Eun Sub with the kids than the main romance...

Yes I think it is the only drama where a season 2 can be so much interesting if with the same cast of course ! The characters have so much evolved and the story is so deep !! I want to see Hwa Pyung with his fully recovered power and his badass look he gains at the end fighting demons/spirits with Mateo and Gil Young !! I would love to see Yook Gwang too in ghost state making fun of Hwa Pyung lol

Yes I think you're right he could totally use him to replace the king ! In that case I don't think he has changed the other Lee Gon's face. But it is kind of dangerous for him because it is still another Lee gon and it would be shocking to see this Lee Gon controlled by Lee lim. I feel like Lee lim isn't the kind of character taking that kind of risks, he wants to control everything.

There is something I didn't understand in episode 1 : Lee lim killed again his brother in the alternate dimension. The wife identified his body and was happy of his death and it seemed her husband was abusing her. So if that is the case the alternate person can be totally different in personality because I don't think the king was abusing his wife in the other dimension (Captain Jo Young and Jo Eun Sub are not the same too).

And the wife said " Now I can leave with Lee Gon out of this shitty place " or something so I don't think she knew about her son's death. But just after that the evil Lee Lim suprised her told her she is happy when she knows her husband and son are dead ? I am a bit lost sorry if I am not clear

My crazy theorie :

His mother in the alternate universe knows Yi Him so that wouldn't suprised me if he changed the face/name of the kid and make him grew up with bad people for his revenge or something.

But at the same time I find this theorie completely crazy because the uncle could have just killed the kid and the actors seem not to have the same height...

So I gave it a try and for now I don't hate it but I am no fond of it too. I think it is because I am more concern by Captain Jo Young / Jo Eun Sub and Detective Gang Shin Jae but we don't see much of them.

I dunno if I should watch this drama when it is airing... Your comment makes me want to watch it but I don't want to be obsess with it like I was with 365: repeat a year (by the way is " parallel dimensions in trend in Kdramas's world ? " There will be a third drama too about parallel's world if I remember corretly this year -I forgot the name but it is about a guy who lost hist girlfriend because of a serial killer so he tries to save her in a parralel dimension-

I am really fond of time travel/parallel dimensions + Misteries + friendships and bromance sooooo I am hesitating...

What is stopping me too is that I have the feeling there will be a sad love triangle :/ I read " Unrequited Love " so that scared me a bit...

Frankly speaking I know this ending is not bad but I dunno why I am really frustrated but I think it is a proof I really like this drama ! HJ is really my favorite character always here to save others ! And yes I want moooooore ! >_<

This scumbag of professor was really horrible to kill the little child " each " year... I am now understanding why Lee Shin's daughter was so cold with him I thought at this moment it was strange how she gave him immediately the cold shoulders when in IDon'tRememberWhitchEpisode she was not shy/cold in front of HJ and GH ! Him being the professor was not so surprising but I didn't thought he was such a scumbag...

SH's mind was very wrong until the end I guess... :/

I wonder if a second season could be possible because of the yellow car at the end, I don't think so. I have the impression thriller/crime Kdramas tend to finish with an open ending in case the show is well praised enough to get a season 2 (I have others dramas in mind with that kind of open ending whitch I am still waiting the second season haha)
And I don't remember a yellow car in past episodes so...perhaps a new character ? Or just to show someone else find out about the reset and so the timelines continues ?

Anyways there were hints throught the drama people was kind of remembering past timelines even without resetting ---> I am talking about how Maru recognized HJ and why HJ gave the name " Maru " to the dog. When the writer was asking about it he said he has just the feeling it was the right name or something. Strange.

Yes the end is rushed and the characters are just odd to me especially SH who couldn't killed HJ before and now tried to backstab him and LS who was strong all along and was really boring at the end... That's why I hate endings, I have always the impression it is not made by the same persons. I rarely like it... The only ending I love in Kdramas was The Guest.

I think the same about the end, I feel like it would have been nice to see the others ex-resetters. To see Hj's helping them to get in the right path because he is from the future so he knows their lives and problems.

I was curious about the book too :/ And just the fact the serial killer tried to kill easily HJ was so off-character to me I feel a bit betrayed because the previous episode clearly showed how he really cared about HJ even if he wasn't in his right mind. I feel like they take another path in the end. I would have prefer to see SH changing fate thanks to HS's kindness I don't know perhaps he could have betrayed the professor and makes him believed he killed HJ or something...

I think if I understood corretly te old man's wife hwas fake, he was only talking about her but we didn't see her with HJ or GH .

The end is " happy " but very rushed and frustrating to me and seem like an end of romance drama . I was kind of curious to know why the old man tried to kill himself (and that is how he discovered the reset) perhaps he has a good story to tell. I was really hoping a twist like perhaps the cliff/ hole wasn't causing the reset but the old man's death was. He was trapped in a loop and couldn't die so he becomes crazy and was playing with people's life or something...

I think it is the kind of moments I hate with Kdrama when it's about the why there are holes.

Yes 365 is a great example I love that kinds of story where the character are likeable but they are so much deeper than you think !

Yes it when they are falling from a specific cliff/ in a hole at a moment of the year they can reset one year back x) Frankly I thought the reset was triggered by someone special's death I was expecting a twist on this but no it is just the hole.

That means the gangster's sister is living an horrible life again :/

Yes what happened to the young cop couple ? I was sad to not see more of them, they seemed to be so happy before all the SH is a killer crap :/ That must be devasting for them . Frankly if I was HJ I wouldn't trust anyone ever again xD except perhaps GH but still after this reset you must end up paranoid...!

Exatcly I am feeling this too, like a lot of things are missing but again I think it is because this drama is a drug to me so I want more and more !
I think at the end they should at least give more minutes to the new timelines I would have paid to see HJ and GH investigating together again and see others ex-reseters life like the gangster and his sister (HJ seemed to be touched by the gangster's action so I was expecting to see him helping the gangster's sister or something)

In term of character development I was really dissapointed about SH, I thought the drama wouldn't take the road "Killer try to kill the cop a last time." I would have preferred to see SH backstabing the professor, I thought he was smarter than that and It was hard to see when you know HJ saved his life in this timeline... I have really the impression I didn't " read " the previous episode because the previous episode clearly hint about a potential heart change of SH at least I was hoping he would do something kind for the cop.
That would have been kind of interesting if this time when the motorcycle guy was in an accident he would have called 911 before taking his motorcycle.

Bitter-sweet ending to me but it is an happy ending indeed.
