I love how Im Sol at 30+ is disgusted by her high school self's taste... "What on earth did I see in him? This guy's a jerk! Ew, what was I thinking?" π
And then getting all embarrassed and grossed out by her own confession. π
So, he was into her first. He liked her back then, when she didn't know him yet. ππSo did he know that it…
I think he knows a lot more than we realized from the first two episodes. I like that there's a lot still to be uncovered, and they're doing a great job of piquing our interest to see how everything gets resolved and explained. It makes me want to watch things over again, in order to see how you could interpret his behavior towards her differently now that we know he knows more.
I was watching it with my teenage daughter she said the same but she is the type that jumps, put pillows in her…
Romcoms=cringey (in the cutest sense)
This one had me giggling multiple times! I also get a kick out of the fact that SHE'S matured but the ML and SML are still high schoolers and somehow still mature for their age... unlikely. And how did she not notice her drop-dead gorgeous neighbor? No way! High school girls will ALWAYS notice cute boys. π
Same vibe but totally different, OMG the main leads are goals for romcoms.....I love them already both equally…
Yes, I saw all the great comments so I tried it. I've missed dramas that felt this way. The first two episodes were great! So cozy and well done. The leads have great chemistry already, too! I do wish they'd stop giving Kim Hye Yoon bangs, but I guess it makes her look younger, but I love her look without them! A minor, unimportant gripe. :P I liked Byeon Woo Seok in Record of Youth, and glad he's not another villain. He's been doing great so far!
it's a tie. I like Ml and SML so I'm team both π Let's see where it goes
It reminds me a lot of True Beauty, with the seemingly bad boy SML who falls for the girl just a bit too late. But it still feels fresh despite the similarities. I just hope they don't have him actually confess in Episode 3. That would be way too soon! Let's hope he does it in a dream or something. π
The screeenwriter is the same as True Beauty, so does that mean the same person adapted the True Beauty webtoon as this drama? Cause both this and True Beauty were originally webtoons, yes?
It's sooo good though. Maybe you need a change and could watch other genre of kdramas?
Yup, it's their M.O. I responded once, but now I know better. π€ They just copy and paste some version of this comment for every new drama. Falling prey to the very thing you're critiquing... *smh*
not wrapped up filming for this drama? I don't get...are they still shooting or??
The only downside is sometimes it means they rush the ending if it's not completely written. π¬ I might start this cause everyone is saying it's so cute!
Sorry! I imagine there will be highlights on YouTube, but besides that I have no idea. π¬ I don't watch the award ceremonies cause I just look up the results after it's over. π
I find it so romantic the likes me, likes me not with the leaves.
It was a very cute part, especially since they teased the leaves earlier but you didn't know why they were there the first time you saw them. I love stuff like that! π
QOT's comment section has become toxic comment section, just like Cdramas'. I always thought that K-drama audience…
It is common for the super popular dramas to get heated discussions in the comment section with the occasional troll or contrarian who seems to delight in getting everyone riled up and annoyed (I think the My Demon page was an anomaly). I try to remind myself that responding to trolls/chronic contrarians and getting annoyed with them is exactly what they want me to do, and I'm playing into their hands. Just like when the internet, media and individuals talk about an active shooter, and their face and name blow up on the internet. When we do that, we're giving the shooters what they want: attention and fame. On MDL, I try to discern who's a troll (in that case, no response) or just someone wanting to dialogue about what bothers them, and then respond accordingly.
The less popular drama comment sections are more peaceful. For instance, Knight Flower had a very pleasant comment thread while it was airing. Just know the more popular drama will have a larger range of participants. Also, most of the people who frequent this page are big fans, which is why they're here a lot, which means it's understandable they'd challenge those who fire shots at what they enjoy. To me, it makes sense.
Also, its the internet, so you get all kinds, mature and immature alike. If you're not using the app you can block people you think are toxic if it bothers you (the block feature doesn't work on the app; I know cause I tried π ). :)
