Wow, was Reborn Rich really that popular/good? It didn't look appealing to me at all...
Was it an open or sad ending?

Title Queen of Tears Spoiler
I think itโ€™s either from the orphanage or actually Soo Cheulโ€™s baby, unless Da Hye was sleeping with other…
Peope's confusion on this confuses ME. Cause she would have had to be pregnant to convince everyone she had the baby; there's no way she could show up with a baby from an oprhanage and make it convincing it was hers and Soo Cheol's. So the only other option other than Soo Cheol is that she had it with someone else, but to me that still makes no sense. Why have a child with another man, and how would she be able to do that without raising suspicion? It just seems far-fetched. If they find a way to explain that version, it could be cute to see Soo Cheol care for a baby that isn't even his, but I still think the baby is theirs and she lied to him.

Definitely not AI generated, but I can't imagine it wasn't touched up at all. There's no way. Even fantastically famous Korean singers like IU and Suzy sound very different live (in terms of quality) than in their recordings... Korea unfortunately just places a much heavier emphasis on looks than natural talent and ability.

That would be nice! The fact that things are still so rough between the leads this late in the drama gives me hope! Bad things are bound to happen if they get together/make up too early, and we're not getting that here, so, fingers crossed! ๐Ÿคž

Childhood connections in kdramas are no different than Subway and Kopiko scenes lol.
Actually, I like the way Park Hye Ryun writes childhood connections (I Can Hear Your Voice, While You Were Sleeping) because she builds them into her characters' growth arcs. Park Ji Eun's are a little thin on the ground and limpid for my taste. But she does other tropes much better. :)

Certain screenwriters set trends with tropes (Park Hye Ryun, Park Ji Eun, Lee Woo Jung, etc.) and then other less capable writers copy them and that's when we get all the tropes recycled poorly, like people who try to write good fantasy by mimicking Tolkien and Rowling and fail. They don't have the creativity and confidence to be original and bold with their plots and so end up becoming mediocre imitations of the masters. ๐Ÿ˜

Well, they have certainly teased a happy ending with the "miraculous" phrasing in synopses and trailers, so MDL viewers at least will lose their minds if she pulls a sad ending. Hopefully she remembers that this is for entertainment, not just about creating good art that has a "fitting" or "realistic" ending. No one wants that. ๐Ÿ˜… We don't watch Kdramas for realism!

QOT also becomes highest rated show of 2024 (till now) by beating knight flower's ratings which is 18.4%.
It's smart for them to air this during the Kdrama desert that tends to settle in after award season in November/December. They can bring in all the viewers rather than compete for divided attention. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Happy endings(ish). Cause they're not as happy as they COULD be (minus LOTBS, although she did have that unnecessary time skip/amnesia plot at the end which was 100% not needed). Somehow she jedi-mind tricks you into thinking they're happy endings, so while I am not as hopeful as I would be for a Park Hye Ryun (While You Were Sleeping, Castaway Diva, I Can Hear Your Voice) drama, I am confident she'll at least make us feel somewhat satisfied about the ending she chooses to write. If a screenwriter can, she will find a way to make a tragedy, or something close to one, beautiful.

Oh good! I'm actually behind you now cause I'm waiting for my sister to watch so we can catch up together since we had to skip two of our watching sessions. I might have done some peeking with Episode 8, though, cause I wanted to see all the fuss about the Vincenzo cameo. ๐Ÿ˜…

Whenever he returns with a drama he reminds us why he's the highest paid actor in Korea.
He just commands the screen; I don't know how he manages to be so consistently stellar.

It must be a combination of things; perhaps only the best creatives/networks/directors/writers can recruit him because he's so expensive, and they have to create a drama good enough to make them money after paying for him.๐Ÿ˜… And if he's picky, this means the people creating the projects he picks are working extra hard to be worthy of his notice? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ
